As a Tender Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our Corporate Procurement team, supporting our operations in various critical areas, including the tender process, eAuction support, tender administration, and contract support. You will be the driving force behind our organization's awareness and compliance with tendering steps via our systems and sourcing negotiation tools.
Make an Impact by:
Being Involved in the Tender Process and Content Management:
- Take ownership of the Procurement Tender process, ensuring it aligns with policy requirements and market best practices.
- Provide guidance and support to business stakeholders, BU Procurement/Category Management teams, and the wider Procurement community on tender processes and policy requirements.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain standardized and category-specific tender content templates to support sourcing needs.
- Leverage Procurement system capabilities for optimal commercial outcomes in sourcing projects.
Being Involved in eAuction Support:
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert, identifying opportunities to leverage eAuction as a negotiation strategy for sourcing projects.
- Plan and execute eAuctions within sourcing projects, adhering to project timelines and policy requirements.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain eAuction processes and documentation, including rules, guidelines, process flows, and supplier training materials.
- Conduct supplier bidder training.
Tender Administration:
- Collect business requirements and build/publish Tender content using the Procurement system.
- Enforce Procurement policy requirements and guidelines throughout the Tender process.
- Support tender supplier participants for effective and timely tender responses.
- Administer changes to tender content and communicate with supplier participants.
- Assist business stakeholders in ensuring on-time completion of tender activities.
- Support tender response compilation, analysis, and evaluation.
Contracting Support:
- Provide guidance to business stakeholders on contract deviation approval and execution processes.
- Assist in operationalizing contracts in Procurement systems for effective P2P deployment.
- Utilize Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools to manage contract lifecycle activities, including drafting and amendments.
- Provide training to internal Procurement teams, users, and participating suppliers on optimizing tender events and system usage.
- Conduct analysis of tender outcomes and benchmarking statistics.
Skills for Success:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain.
- Minimum 4 years of working experience in a Sourcing/Procurement function.
- Proficiency in using Procurement/Sourcing/Contract Management systems (e.g., Ariba, SAP ERP, Coupa, IBM-Emptoris, etc.).
- Comfortable with various systems and technologies.
- Experience in engaging with external suppliers.
- Effective communication and writing skills.
- Strong independent work ethic
