Hours of work: 40 hours per week

Applicants Must Have:
* Experience of full lifecycle engineering.
* Technical report writing skills.
* Experience within Design Justification Reports.
* Experience delivering Technical presentations.
* Experience attending factory acceptance tests.
* The ability to gain SC Clearance.
Must have an in depth understanding of at least one of the following areas:
- Instrumentation and control system theory including PID control.
- Electrical circuits design, EMC precautions and power supply characteristics.
- Safety Integrity Levels and BS EN 61508 or 61511.
- Machinery Safety and UKCA Marking.
- PLC programming.
- Fieldbus technology (Profibus/Profinet).
Desirable:
* Experience leading a team
* Chartered Engineer status
* TUV Certification - Very Desirable
Role information:
* Support the development of estimates for the scope of work and resources required to deliver it in order to support bids.
* Develop design solutions to agreed time, cost, and quality in accordance with project or business milestones.
* Understand the contractual and performance requirements for various systems and support the definition and associated acceptance criteria and events through design, build, integration, installation, and commissioning activities.
* Produce documentation required to support the design review process, including diagrams; technical specifications; supporting calculations; design evidence and justifications.
* Ensure design proving evidence is comprehensive, captured within the requirements management.
* Ensure compliance against contractual requirements and that work is undertaken in accordance with company, safety, environmental, contractual, and local business processes, standards, procedures, and documentation.
* Review relevant supplier documentation and ensure it is captured and recorded appropriately.
* Undertake design reviews and presentations to customers.
