Platform Property Care has an opportunity for an experienced Multi Skill Trades Plumber to join our busy Programme team as a Kitchen and Bathroom Fitter and help us maintain and improve our homes in Worcestershire.
What could you be doing?
You will excel at fitting kitchens and bathrooms – from initial install to completion, and you will be ensuring our customer’s homes are maintained and repaired to a great standard. 
Based in Worcestershire and covering our customers homes in Worcester, Malvern, Droitwich and Kidderminster, plumbing will be your focus, but experience in other trades will  be needed to help this team achieve their programme of delivering a large number of planned kitchens and bathrooms.

We want somebody who can:
A team player, you’ll be hard working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude. You’ll be working in people’s homes, so you’ll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication skills. You’ll also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering good customer service.
 You will need to have proven experience of complete fitting and installing kitchens, bathrooms, and wet rooms, including all associated trades needed to do so - excluding gas and electric (carpentry, plastering to a high standard, minor brickwork, floor screening and tiling) as this will be your daily job. You will be able to carry out pre and post inspections and take full control of job completion including materials and liaising with customers, ensuring right first-time delivery.
We want someone who has:
• NVQ L2 Plumbing is desirable but not essential if you have demonstrable experience in Plumbing, and Kitchen and Bathroom Fitting
• Experience of working as a plumber in the building trade either as a Plumber or as a multi-skilled Plumber 
• You must be used to fitting kitchens and bathrooms and installed and completed many of these in the past; this will be your main job, and this is essential for you to be considered for this role
• Experience of working for a Social Landlord, housing association or council 
• You will be a true Multi Skill Trades Operative with associated trade skills of carpentry, plastering, flooring and wall tiling.
• Experience of delivering multi-trade work  
• Good organisational skills

What could you be doing?

In this role you will work alongside the Neighbourhood Officers to ensure robust case management, managing case notes and updating our Housing Management System. Acting as the point of contact for our residents and Neighbourhood Officers, you will ensure all parties are kept informed of any updates within relation to their cases.

You'll maintain cases in relation to anti-social behaviour (ASB), hate crime, domestic abuse, safeguarding, tenancy breaches and estate management and ensure action plans are agreed, maintained and vulnerability risks assessments are completed where appropriate.

You will have worked in a customer facing environment and delivered consistently good customer service, taking ownership of case management.

Our Responsive Repairs team now have a great opportunity for a Supervisor to join the leadership team in Worcester, Malvern and Hereford to support their ambitious plans to grow their team in this area.

What could you be doing?

As one of two Supervisors you will be supervising a multi skill trades team, providing practical and technical support, and assisting the Service Manager to deliver the operational objectives ensuring all works are completed efficiently and effectively whilst engaging the team to bring their best.

By analysing data and measuring performance, you will work closely with the trade's teams and your Service Manager to support a customer focussed maintenance service, delivering Repairs meeting the required SLAs. You will also assist the Service Manager with the completion of daily, weekly, and monthly business objectives.

In conjunction with the Service Manager, your focus will be to support, coach, motivate and engage the team to achieve service objectives, embedding the Bring Your Best Values, and promoting a customer centric approach of ‘value for money’ and ‘right first time.’

Day to day your role will be varied, and a lot of your time will be dedicated to managing your team. This will include:

Conducting monthly 1-2-1s,

Holding absence meetings,

Supporting with and holding HR meetings

Performance monitoring

Resource allocation and monitoring

Reporting relevant information to the Service Manager and escalating when required

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Work Planner/ Scheduler within our Platform Property Care planning team that could be for you! 
In this key role you will be working as part of a highly motivated team planning planned and reactive maintenance work for our customers.  Our team of Work Planners are central to our drive to deliver great customer service and ‘right first time’ repairs and installations. 
This is a Full-Time role working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday 8:00 - 16:30 - so no weekend working.
What could you be doing?
Responsible for planning an operational multi-skill trades workforce, maintaining contact with field teams, and liaising with customers, you will need to be highly organised, approachable, and a confident communicator. It is a busy role, juggling different priorities and you will need to remain calm under pressure, think on your feet and be able to work on your own initiative. But this won’t phase you as you will excel in organising the engineers and scheduling property maintenance and repairs. You will also have the support of a great team around you.
Who we are looking for:
• Strong IT skills, particularly Outlook and Word   
• Experience of working in a building maintenance or construction administration team as a work planner or scheduler is essential
• Demonstrable capability and experience of Workforce (Engineers) planning and scheduling software. Previous experience of using DRS is preferred so if you do have this, please highlight this in your application.

*Whist this role is home based, there will be an expectation that you will be able to travel to our Group Offices located in Birmingham Business Park, Solihull or Central Park, Worcester on an ad-hoc basis, and as required. There is a Team meeting every other month and there will be other infrequent travel required. Any required travel (training/meetings as example) will be reimbursed in line with our current policy and current Inland Revenue Mileage rates. Car parking at our offices is free.

What will you be doing as an Apprentice Grounds Maintenance Operative?

As an Apprentice Grounds Maintenance Operative you will learn all about what it takes to make sure our customers’ communal areas and green spaces are maintained to a high and safe standard. You will produce work of the highest quality while providing excellent service to our customers, clients, and your team.

As part of this apprenticeship, you will learn how to carry out a range of high quality horticultural and grounds maintenance work in an efficient and productive method. The work will be varied and interesting and you will have the support of a mentor throughout your apprenticeship.

At college, you will study the Horticulture or Landscape Construction Operative Apprenticeship standard at Level 2 by attending Pershore College or similar provider one day a week, alongside learning and working with experienced operatives during the rest of the week.

On successful completion of the Level 2 Apprenticeship, you will be able to apply for any related job vacancies within PPC. If you gain permanent employment with PPC you will continue to be supported in your learning and development. PPC has a strong track record of offering permanent jobs to its apprentices once they qualify.

Ideally you would need to hold a full driving licence but this is not essential initially but the role is mobile so would be required to be achieved

Platform Property Care has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Control Auditor to join our Award-winning Heating team based in Worcestershire & Gloucestershire supporting a Service Manager and a team of Service & Repair Gas Engineers in this area. This brand-new role has arisen due to our continued growth and expansion in the team.
What will you be doing?
In this key role you will be auditing Landlord Gas Safety records issued by the engineering workforce, including undertaking detailed inspections, and specialist investigations and preparing reports.
You will then advise and develop recommendations to address issues identified, complete corrections, and provide coaching for our engineers. You will also develop and deliver training and line manage our team of apprentices.
You will have a real impact on our service delivery being successful. Being someone who will naturally thrive on taking responsibility you will own issues resolving these to ensure that our team continue to meet our KPIs.
Some things we need from you:
The following qualifications/ technical knowledge are essential
• A gas related NVQ L3
• Current ACS accreditation in CENWAT, CCN1, CPA1, CKR1, DAH1, HTR1
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Gas Safety (Installation & Use) Regulations 1998 maintenance, servicing, and installation of Gas Installations
• It would be advantageous if you held an Assessors qualification or equivalent, Fumes investigation reporting (CMDDA1), and or a Health & Safety Management qualification
• Proven experience as a Service & Repair Engineer with a good understanding of the work and standards required
• Experience in Domestic Gas auditing
• Experience providing guidance, coaching, and training
• Demonstrable experience in working with internal/ external customers and delivering services that meet key performance indicators
• IT literate with experience of utilising technology to drive service performance
• Strong numeracy and communication skills
• Good report writing skills
• Strong personal organisation skills
• Ability to make a reasoned decision, with understanding of impact
• Strong interpersonal skills – you will build strong working relationships
The role is mobile, and therefore requires a full UK Driving Licence, and covers Worcestershire & Gloucestershire so you will need to be based in this area. At times you will be required to attend meetings and training at our other offices and locations including Worcester, Birmingham, Matlock, and Skegness.

Platform Property Care needs experienced Multi Skill Trades Operative/ Carpenters to join our Voids team and help us maintain and improve our homes in North Worcestershire.

You will be a Multi Skill Trades Carpenter and carpentry will be your focus, but experience in other trades is an advantage.

The role is varied. No two days will be the same and you will meet a wide range of customers along the way. It's a tough task and our expectations are high. In return, you’ll have the support of a great team.

We want somebody who can:

A team player, you’ll be hard working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude. You’ll be working in people’s homes, so you’ll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication and customer service skills. You’ll also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering work right first time.

We want someone who has:   

NVQ L2 Carpentry
Experience of working as a Carpenter in the building trade either as a Carpenter or as a multi-skilled Carpenter
Experience of working for a Social Landlord, housing association or council
Associated trade skills of basic plumbing, plaster patching, decorating and wall tiling would also be desirable
Experience of delivering multi-trade work
Good organisational skills
Experience of keeping jobs on track
The drive to ensure works are completed quickly and efficiently
Good IT Skills. Experienced using a PDA. Experience of using Microsoft and Outlook email.
Full driving licence
As you will be working within Customer’s homes this role requires a DBS check. 
There is also the opportunity to earn additional from being on the out of hours rota as required.
