Manager / Assistant Manager – Branding and Marketing Relations (PIAR) [NIE]
Responsibilities:
NIE is seeking to hire a Manager/Assistant Manager – Branding and Marketing Relations in the Public, International & Alumni Relations Department. This position oversees marketing, branding, and publicity for NIE to both internal and external stakeholders using various platforms. It ensures the alignment of NIE's image with its mission, vision, and values. The position also manages and plans corporate events and visits, ensuring positive brand experience amongst guests and visitors. This is a 1-year contract position.
The responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
1. Build and manage NIE’s brand identity and reputation
a. Enforce brand guidelines to ensure consistent use of the NIE identity across all channels and touchpoints.
b. Continuously review and refinement of NIE brand management strategies to ensure that the brand remains relevant.
c. Produce marketing and publicity assets both above and below the line.
2. Manage the NIE corporate website as business lead
a. Oversee the management of the NIE corporate website.
b. Develop strategies that would align key messages in line with the NIE roadmap to ensure currency and relevance of content.
c. Work with departments across NIE for content management and approval
3. Organise corporate events such as:
a. Visits.
b. Anniversary celebrations.
c. Centre launches.
d. Graduation events.
e. Alumni events.
Requirements:
· A university degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing or Communications.
· At least three years of working experience in a relevant field.
· High-level of written and oral communication skills and strong networking skills.
· Proven experience in partner/event management, working with diverse teams to achieve objectives.
· Strong attention to details in presenting high quality marketing and communications content.
· Experience in PR, branding, marketing, content production or media relations will be an advantage.
· A dynamic team player who can also work independently.
· Adaptable and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong conceptual and analytical skills.
· Good research skills with a keen eye for details.
