Due to the requirement of the Out of Hours Crisis Worker to open the SARC within the hour, ability to travel from home to Cardiff Royal Infirmary any time during the day/night is essential Whilst the role of a Crisis worker can be emotionally challenging, it is also an extremely rewarding role where you will be supported to develop your skills and expertise. Being a Crisis worker will allow you to develop your understanding of how multiple agencies work together, develop confidence in working with vulnerable people, improve your knowledge of safeguarding and be part of the NHS and South East Wales Regional SARC service. The post holder will be flexible to cover shortfalls in the rota at short notice due to staff sickness,in order to operate the service on a 24 hours basis. The successful candidates must be willing to attend an initial training week and be available to cover all out of hours shifts. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
