Provide leadership and direction for IIUT across all service lines, working alongside the Head of IIU and supported by, the Ops and GP Liaison & Data Quality Leads (as part of the senior leadership team). 2. Oversees and lead all clinical input/aspects of IIUT services both internally and externally. 3. Provide clinical expertise, support and escalation point for team clinicians, wider IIUT and other services eg CHIS. 4. Responsibility and oversight for support provided to GP practices; including monitoring and escalation to commissioners as required, as part of a reporting and quality improvement cycle, supported by GP Liaison & Data Quality and administrative Leads. 5. Responsibility for acting on information from the CHIS data informatics team who have identified geographical areas or specific patient groups with current low immunisation uptake and to work in these areas with primary care and other relevant health care professionals, supported by the Data Quality Lead and wider IIUT. 6. Responsibility for acting on those children who have been identified by the CHIS data informatics team (supported by the wider IIUT) who are not up to date with their childhood immunisations, following up those children with delayed or missing immunisations, encouraging and facilitating access to immunisation services 7. Lead on and work collaboratively/directly with primary care colleagues to identify and overcome barriers to children accessing required immunisations in a timely fashion. 8. Key leadership role in establishing/overseeing initial relationships with practices and planning/implementing action plans with them. 9. Lead on and work in partnership with key stakeholders such as GPs, Practice Nurses, Health Visitors, commissioners, ICBs, public health colleagues and local authorities. 10. Work alongside the CHIS Improving Immunisation Uptake Head of Service and to develop the IIUT service, both as an offer within our current/future CHIS contracts and as a standalone business offer to other customers eg PCNs/ICBs 20. Contribute to the development of and implementation of a long-term strategy for the continuing development of CHIS provision. 22.
