To provide clinical and leadership support, to all Rhythm management colleagues To act as a resource for support and guidance of Cardiology staff and at Trust level, as required. Assist in the placement of appropriate personnel/skills across the directorate. Implement and work to Trust and Directorate, evidence based, procedures, policies and guidelines Work closely with the Lead Physiologist Rhythm Manager to promote good working relationships with all members of the multi-disciplinary team. Assist in the management of staff performance and development through a process of appraisal, which should include a cycle of constructive performance review and the establishment of a relevant personal development plan. Monitor and manage staff sickness and absence. Ensure all staff complete the relevant training and statutory updating regarding mandatory training, i.e.COSHH, Health & Safety, Infection Control, Resuscitation, Moving and handling, Fire lecture and Occupational Health. Identify and report performance issues in accordance with Trust policy Act as an ambassador for the Trust in professional and public settings.
