About Koala Farms:
We are a family owned business and a leading producer in the horticultural industry and produce on properties in the Lockyer Valley and the Darling Downs. We provide year-round production to chain stores and wholesale markets on the east coast of Australia.
About the Role:
As our business is growing, we have multiple opportunities for you to build a career within our business starting as a farm hand and being part of our production team, harvesting team, packing team or planting team. If you demonstrate the type of qualities and skills we are looking for, there are opportunities for further development and growth in our business for Team Leaders, Forklift Drivers and other roles.
The successful applicant will need:
-Previous horticultural experience
-Tractor and farm machinery experience (desired)
-Forklift ticket (desired)
-Chem Cert Certificate (desired)
-GPS knowledge (desired)
-Possess a strong work ethic and have a high degree of integrity
-Be able to work independently or as part of a team
-Possess a strong work ethic and have a high degree of integrity
-Supervisory experience (desired)
-Ability to work in a multicultural environment
-Computer skills would be advantageous
-Must have own transport
Pay is between $29.80 to $36.00 per hour depending on experience.
