The Digital Director oversees the Partnerships digital strategy and go to market approach and ensures the successful activation of clients’ investments.
This position requires a strong leader with proven experience managing teams, juggling multiple high level projects at one time, researching and justifying digital partner selection and developing and negotiating multi-faceted media and marketing partnerships. As the digital lead for your clients, you drive collaboration, excellence and quality of product across all digital channels to deliver the most strategic, holistic and integrated investment solutions.
Directors must think strategically and work collaboratively with other Partnerships disciplines and with client team leaders in Client Advice & Management, Strategy, Connections Design and SBUs to create implementation recommendations that deliver on client strategic goals and business objectives. You maintain excellent relationships with each of the SBUs, proactively collaborating to drive innovation and uptake of each service across your client portfolio.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Client
Collaborates with Strategy, Connections Design and Client Advice & Management teams to ensure alignment with and delivery against client KPIs
Leads digital negotiation strategy on major client negotiations and activations in conjunction with the CPMO in order to deliver improved product and outcomes YOY
Maintains, develops and grows relationships with appropriate client level contacts
Communicates with clients for digital marketplace intelligence, implementation planning, negotiation and partnership needs and takes ultimate accountability for team’s day-to-day responsibilities
Internal
Promotes an open working environment where opinions, views and ideas can be shared
Oversees the development of digital go to market strategy, implementation recommendations and POVs
Guides and provides digital leadership for the execution of media negotiations managed by the team
Works with the CPMO to develop digital cost benchmarks between campaigns and clients to drive value across client base
Develops and implements best practices, processes and templates for the Investment Partnership teams in conjunction with the Investment Partnership leadership team
Manages and oversees Investment Partnership team’s digital output
Develops opportunities to streamline and automate, creating efficiencies to free up time for creativity Partners with other Partnerships leads to ensure consistency and best practices are implemented across digital channels
Participates in digital partner selection recommendations and justification designed to deliver on client KPI’s using data, analytics and multi-faceted, strategic partnerships, while delivering maximum strategic value and efficiency
Oversees and provides direction to the Investment Partnership Managers / Directors on digital implementation planning and buying across all channels

Participates in new business development and presentations
Prepares RFP responses
Develops costs for pricing exercises
