The role will focus on providing analytical and strategic guidance to Mediacorp brand owners with the primary objective to drive youth audience engagement effectively, with a particular focus on short-form video (TikTok). RESPONSIBILITIES

This role within commissioning is responsible for working across and delivering independent and in-house commissions for Chinese (primary) and English (secondary) unscripted content.

This role is important to delivering our strategy, working with both In-House Studio and the External Production Houses to commission content based on a deep understanding of audience needs. The ability to commission across platforms as we move to an ever-digital world will be critical in the way audiences experience what Mediacorp has to offer.

Responsibilities

You'll ensure that priorities and editorial strategy are aligned, also inspire and engage in-house and independent producers by articulating your editorial priorities, and work with them to create and develop ideas that meet our audiences' needs. Your commissions have to demonstrate value for money, quality and originality. Commissioned programmes have to be compliant with existing codes and guidelines, delivered within timeline and budget considerations that you are accountable for.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Network Engineer, Network Infrastructure plays a crucial role in managing the organization's network infrastructure. This position requires a strong technical background, proficiency in project management, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. • Provide maintenance and support for the network services and experience working in LAN/WAN/WLAN/SDN/IPS/ISE. Implement and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and other network components.

• Contract Creation: Responsible for the drafting, reviewing, and negotiating variety of agreements including content licensing, production, commissioning, collaboration and partnership agreements to ensure they accurately reflect the terms and conditions agreed upon by all parties involved. JOB PURPOSE

Support in the operations at Youth Services (YS), assist in the conceptualization and implementation of delivery of services to our clients in the community and in schools. Youth Services works in a variety of settings, serving our clients in the community via outreach, mandated state programmes and school upstream intervention programmes. DIRECT FUNCTIONS

• Alongside with key leaders in the YS, evaluate, design, plan, oversee and manage the implementation and service improvements of these programmes/services [it could be one or another, two or more]:

• Integrated Service Provider (ISP) for Guidance Programme, Enhanced Step-Up, Triage, Streetwise Programme
• Adolescence Development Programmes (School-based Prevention & Development Programmes for Under-achieving Primary and Secondary School students informed by neuroscience and academic mastery)
• Outreach to Adolescents disengaged from the systems and who are on the fringes via the Youth Go programme (YGP) and other ground up outreach initiatives (online, social media, school engagements among others)

• Co-lead the development of programme proposals, designs, outcome/impact measurements, monitor programme outcomes and prepare reports for private funders.

• Take lead in overseeing and managing outcome indicators, standard requirements and statistical reporting required by government funders. Develop outcome reports for submission to government funder.
• Covering the senior manager and assistant managers and team leaders in overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of respective departments where necessary.
• Vet and approve reports for frontline staff for submission to various governmental departments and institutions.
• Prepare, review and manage budgets for all programmes alongside with the senior manager, track monthly I&E and ensure financial sustainability.

STAFF

FUNDRAISING

• Co-lead in cultivating potential funders and donors to adopt long-term funding of YS flagship programmes

CORPORATE

• Support the organisation of programme and services sub-committee meetings and quarterly service review meetings
• Support and provide leadership in any corporate projects assigned
• Contribute toward overall organisational development at both the service group level and at organisational wide level.

LEAD RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee reporting for all statistics, especially YGP
• Oversee governance related matters such as BCP, PDPA, submission of data for annual reports, liaison with HQ
