This is a long-term part-time contract 3 days per week and will consist of general classroom support.

Your new role
As a teaching assistant within this school, you will support the Year 5 class teacher in offering a stimulating and engaging learning environment. You will effectively utilise all learning equipment as to promote engagement and focus of pupils as well as implement a myriad of positive behaviour strategies to ensure an inclusive learning environment for all pupils. You will take a proactive approach within the classroom as to effectively identify pupil shortfalls and accordingly support, as well as offer intervention and booster sessions.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered in your application, you must have full "Right to Work" in the UK as well as 40 days referenceable classroom experience within the last two years, as well as:

• Have experience delivering intervention and booster sessions
• Be able to commit to full school days 8:30am - 3:30pm
• An NVQ Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent qualification is advantageous

Your new role
As a teaching assistant within this school, you will be supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis within the EYFS/reception class. You will be this pupils' main point of contact throughout the school day, meeting them at the school gate and walking them back to their grown up(s) at the end of the school day. You will actively encourage this pupil to partake in learning material by liaising with the class teacher and breaking down the learning material into a more digestible manner. As this pupil struggles with social communication, you will also complete role plays with them and integrate them into new pupils' groups which will, intern build and solidify a strong constructive relationship and teach them invaluable social and emotional interpersonal skills.

Finance Assistant

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 + Bonus

The role:The Finance Assistant will be a part of a dynamic and fluid finance team and will have the ability to be flexible and step into all Finance positions as and when required. This will involve covering various ad hoc duties within the Finance function.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily reconciliation of bank account(s), including posting to Sage
• Daily / weekly payment collections
• Administering supplier payments
• Supporting the team with reconciliations and ad hoc tasks that will assist with the preparation of management accounts
• Preparation and input of journals
• Liaising with the operations department on any queries that may arise
• Dealing with queries from tour operators and travel agents
• Provide reports to assist with the audit of data held

Ideal Experience

• Experience of dealing with large volumes of data
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for time management, accuracy and organisation.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
• A self-motivated team player with the ability to work on your own initiative and make informed decisions.
• A Level Maths / Accountancy / working towards AAT / or relevant experience in a similar role would be beneficial.
