Our client is a trusted partner of the UK Ministry of Defence and are looking for an experienced Electronic Architect to work on all aspects of missile development. This will include early concept studies, series production, and in-service support. It's an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to enhance their engineering experience, and a contract extension or a permanent position is possible. This role has a hybrid work-frame and onsite work blend.
As an Electronic Architect, your responsibility will be to create the electrical architecture and requirements for missiles and their associated launcher systems.
What we're looking for:
HND or Degree in a related subject desirable (or an equivalent qualification), with an Electronics proclivity, including obtained significant experience in the following areas of Systems Engineering and relevant:
Technical experience required:
- Electrical/electronics
- Interface definitions
- Knowledge of defence/industry standards, etc.
- Degree-level qualification in a related subject
- Systems engineering
- Writing reports
Experience in defence-related or other engineering industries considered.

What you'll get to do as an Electronic Architect:
The role involves determining electrical requirements, designing power and data communication architecture, ensuring electromagnetic compatibility and system safety. Other responsibilities include writing reports, conducting design assessments, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and supporting design reviews.
Alternatively, you can act as the Equipment Manager (RMO) for specific electrical/electronic equipment that is part of a missile or launcher system.
