Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain Windows servers and related systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, and user account provisioning.
• Monitor, configure, and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Implement and manage security solutions, including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices to safeguard data and systems.
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups to ensure system integrity and reliability.
• Conduct security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
• Collaborate with teams to support application deployments and resolve technical issues.
• Automate system administration tasks using PowerShell or other scripting tools.
• Document configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides to support the IT environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a System Engineer or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, and DNS/DHCP.
• Hands-on experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs) and technologies.
• Expertise in configuring and managing firewalls, switches, and routers (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto).
• Solid understanding of security principles, including access control, encryption, and threat management.
• Experience with endpoint protection, SIEM solutions, and vulnerability management tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP.
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of Linux systems is a plus.
