The Sales Engineer, City-OG Gas Energy Services Pte. Ltd. [City-OG] will be involved in the entire sales process and customer lifecycle, from prospecting to project completion, and continual retention of customer. Working hand in hand with customers, partners and colleagues across City-OG and its shareholders (City Energy and Osaka Gas Singapore [OGS]), the individual will support Singapore’s energy transition by offering innovative low-carbon energy solutions to organisations.
Job responsibilities:
- Sales activity: Develop new leads via telemarketing/ walk-in, networking with local developers, contractors, and government-related entities, maintaining existing accounts/customers.
- Carry out assessment in customer’s facilities, walkthrough audit, measurement, analysis, and study to evaluate their energy needs.
- Prepare sales presentation materials such as business proposals, negotiate with customers, local developers, contractors, and government-related entities.
- Handle customer inquiries, quotations and tenders.
- Prepare official documents such as contract and discuss with legal officers/lawyers the contract details.
- Meter-reading and billing works on the first business day of the month.
- Coordinate with SP PowerGrid (Gas Transporter) and other government-related entities on project job scope, and timeline.
- Coordinate installation projects and liaise with various parties to execute job within given timeline.
- Develop strategic planning for future sales activities.
- Prepare reporting materials using Salesforce.
- Work with other sales team members and cross functional teams in City Energy and OGS .
- Overseas business travel for training or meeting where necessary.
- Any other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering or Business
- Minimum of 2 years sales experience in related industry (energy, machinery or chemical sectors preferred)
- Self-driven, able to work independently, possess good written and communication skills
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Office
- Possess class 3 driving license and preferably own a car
The successful candidate will be based at 26 Senoko Avenue. Company shuttle bus pickup/dropoff point at Sembawang MRT station.
