- Serves as a personal consultant and administrative advisor to HRIT management on a wide range of administrative projects and programs of broad scope.
- Maintains close contact with headquarters and field representatives, and human resources partners to ensure HRIT is adequately resourced to execute its mission efficiently and effectively.
- Recommends specific initiatives and changes that would improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of program operations.
- Coordinates and or completes task assignments and responsible for tracking status and completion of HRIT tasks assigned by HCT, including those coming from USCIS senior leadership and external federal agencies.
- Explains in writing or orally, policies, procedures, technical guidance, handbooks, and training manuals to HRIT employees, USCIS management, and external stakeholders.
- Effectively interacts with all levels of management, workforce, and external stakeholders in applying active approaches to resolve work-related challenges, problems, reduce workplace conflicts, and strengthen common interests and vision.
- Provides guidance in the resolution of complex problems or issues impacting agency programs. Leads analysis of projects, issues, or programs impacting all or most agency organizations.
- Application of knowledge in program/management principles, organizational theory and techniques of analysis and evaluation, along with knowledge of standardized administrative practices and procedures sufficient to conduct studies of work processes.
