Trainee Generalist Adviser
Salary £23,400 (rises to £24,334 upon achieving Generalist Adviser competence)

Our organisation is growing and we are offering an exciting opportunity to join our Tier Two Advice Service and are seeking to recruit a Trainee Generalist Adviser, if you:
- Have at least 6 months experience of giving information/guidance to clients either in the public/charity sector or a regulated environment such as banking/insurance.
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Are able to work flexibly as part of a team
We can offer comprehensive training and support to enable you to achieve competence as a Generalist Adviser within 6-12 months.
Once trained, the successful applicant will be working across a range of services including:
- Help to Claim (National Service): You will be advising clients over the phone and via webchat on their eligibility for claiming Universal Credit, completing benefit checks and supporting clients to start their claims online.
- City-Wide Advice Service: You will be advising and supporting clients with a broad range of issues over the phone, face to face and via digital channels, such as new benefit applications and mandatory reconsiderations, re-housing applications, trust fund/grant applications, employment advice and immigration advice (Level 1 Only).
