As an Associative Technical Analyst, you will bw Supporting Microsoft 365 security & health checks and for supporting the availability, reliability, maintenance and service operation of the End User Computing experience to agreed service levels.




Key Responsibilities




- Supporting the delivery of a stable and performant end user experience for over 6500 users and devices across multiple sites in the UK.
- Delivery of agreed regular health checks of Microsoft 365, including security, to support the proactive detection of threats and risks across our services and user base.
- Supporting security operations and records compliance for all email content management systems within M365.
- Accountable for agreed regular proactive checks in Purview to help protect Cadent colleague accounts and data (inc. Exchange & SharePoint). Contact colleagues, make recommendations and escalate concerns.
- Supporting the improvement of the Purview compliance score, working through an improvement plan to address concerns and take direction from security teams.
- Supporting with investigating and responding to legal requirements with relevant data.
- Supporting the EUC team with the management, maintenance and support for a consistent and reliable build and core application stack to end users. Support change delivered following thorough testing and business pilot approvals.
- Supporting the EUC team with high priority incidents and problem management related to IT Technology Services.
- Supporting the EUC teams with maintenance, support and housekeeping for systems including SCCM, Endpoint configuration manager and AD.
- Work closely with the asset management team to support accurate CMDB records and to maximise the functional output from the device management suite.
- Supporting the delivery and maintenance of disaster recovery (DR) Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and are regularly tested as part of the DR Plan.





Skills and Experience




- Strong experience in a first, second line customer facing role in a medium to large company. Desire to learn, develop and build on foundational technical knowledge.
- ITIL Foundation
- Experience with agile development methodologies, inc. SAFe framework
- Experience of working in an agile product-centric environment and agile/matrix managed multi-disciplinary technology teams, including understanding of agile methodologies.
- Experience and understanding of Agile, SCRUM and Prince2 methodology.
- Experience in the use of Atlassian products: Jira and Confluence and integrated products such as Miro.

About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our finance department, within the transaction services team as an Invoicing Support Specialist, on a 12month secondment basis.

As an Invoicing Support Specialist it will be your responsibility to manage our daily invoice processes and provide critical support to our key stakeholders. In this role, you’ll help resolve complex invoicing queries, assist Invoicing Administrators on advanced invoicing processes, and make key decisions on the prioritization of supplier payments and statement reconciliation—all while delivering exceptional customer service.

What you'll get to work on:



- Support in ensuring invoices are processed prior to them falling overdue and maintain knowledge of the invoicing processes to develop and deliver systems training to requisitioners, approvers and suppliers, ensuring that they possess the requisite skills and knowledge to minimise late payments. Administer more complex supplier invoicing processes, in respect of:

o GRIRo Consolidated invoiceso Credit noteso Retentionso Utility IDOC Invoice Reconciliationo Maintaining business relationships to ensure best practice

- Provide support with the final checks of all Non Standard Payments (NSP) (c200 a week), such as checking banking details are correct, necessary approvals in line with DOA, invoice data completeness, VAT checks, all to ensure full completeness and compliance are in place before proposing a payment run.
- Dealing with complex invoice and payment queries to provide resolution to internal and external parties.
- Supervise and Administer the Invoice Processes to drive targets/KPI's & adhere to Controls
- Receive, process, collate and provide routine systemised information to / from customers and internal parties and carrying out Bank Verifications in line with controls.
- Operate office systems and equipment, process documents and maintain accurate departmental information that is kept private and confidential at all times.
- Delivery of internal and external audit requirements, and resolving complex adhoc queries, including emergency payment requests and support other team members when required.
- Support with advance training requirements across all process impacting invoice processing, including systems training within SAP, S/4 & Ariba
- Provide support when Testing is carried out on a periodic basis, providing review and Sign off, this includes understanding of full BCM plans for supplier payments.





Who we are looking for:



- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, SharePoint, Word and Excel skills (data interpretation, manipulation and pivot tables are essential within Microsoft Excel)
- Experience of working within a previous financial environment or similar relevant work history (i.e. SAP Ariba, SAP systems, journaling, accrual management, invoice validation, procurement process)
- The ability to communicate over the phone and via email to our internal and external stakeholders

Job Purpose

- Integrate the individual awareness campaigns from CSOC, Risk Management, SHES and Insider Threat Mitigation into a coherent whole utilising internal communications platforms and the already established “Safe+Well” framework which currently engages the OT side of the organisation.

- Leadership skills and can influence decision making within a technical Team environment

Skills and Experience



- Degree qualifications or the equivalent demonstrable experience in similar or related disciplines
- Proven experience as a Release Train Engineer or in a similar Agile leadership role, preferably within a software development environment.

- Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.

- creation of relational and analytical datasets, fact models, dimension and SQL views based
- Create complex ABAP CDS views and SQL code with associated documentation to quality standards while also adhering to SAP best practices and policies.
- Designs and implements data pipelines and data stores to acquire and prepare data in SAP Datasphere in line with data engineering standards and tools.
- Ensuring that the development activities are implementing the quality standards as set by the customer & test teams and that identified test outputs are fed back into the development lifecycle as part of a total quality system. 
- Working within development sprints using an agile software delivery model, across multiple product lines and developments, undertaking retrospectives, ‘show & tell’ as part of an incremental and iterative approach to product development.
- Responsible for development of standardised Datasphere models used for developing reports and analysis in SAP Analytics Cloud, PowerBi and other data consuming applications.

Qualifications:
Educated to degree level or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Development or similar

Practical Experience:

- In depth knowledge of SQL programming language.
- Experience in application development on SAP BW4/Hana or Data Warehouse Cloud systems.

- Strong technical experience and good command of industry trends.

As a Platform Owner for EUC, you will be accountable for the day to day operations of our End User Compute platforms which underpin the operations of Cadent as well as provide technical support to resolve incidents and problems on a 24x7x365 basis for 7000 people.

Key Responsibilities





- Own the ART End User Compute platforms strategy and roadmap covering enterprise tools, infrastructure, client devices, and security for the health of services, delivering regular patching and maintenance, hardware refresh and software upgrades (where required) to maintain supportability. Along with product/platform development and integration to meet user requirements and ensuring the delivery of an evergreen roadmap aligned to strategy.
- Directly and indirectly manage up-to 8 direct reports
- Champion user-centric design principles to ensure an intuitive and seamless experience for all platform users.
- Work closely with the IAM platform owner and ensure the security and health of services, regular patching and maintenance, hardware refresh and software upgrades (where required) are delivered to maintain supportability.
- Ensure that the platforms comply with relevant industry standards and regulations and maintains a strong focus on data security, privacy, and cyber requirements.
- Accountable for budget management and tracking costs for support, maintenance, and delivery across products/platforms.
- Identify potential risks and challenges related to the platform's development and operation and develop mitigation plans.
- Coordinate and collaborate with Product/Platform Owners across ARTs/teams to ensure successful delivery of cross-roadmap activities and dependencies. Prioritise initiatives based on business impact, technical feasibility, and customer value.
- Take ownership of the platform's backlog, define user stories, prioritise work, deliver maximum value & realise business outcomes. Work across all ARTs to ensure timely delivery of enabler features & enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams, including product/platform managers, architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to gather input, prioritise features and ensure the platforms meets the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
- Accountable for maintaining and safeguarding the security and safety of the Digital Enterprise Platforms in line with the Security Policies and Standards.




Skills and Experience





- Experience with agile development methodologies, inc. SAFe and the role of a Product/Platform Owner.
- Proficient in the use of Atlassian products: Jira and Confluence and integrated products such as Miro.
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of platform ownership and delivery.
- Hands-on experience of leading agile delivery with mixed teams of in-house and external developers/engineers.
- Experience of successfully building, leading and motivating multi-disciplinary in-house technical teams.
- Strong experience in a second/ third line support role in a medium to large company, with significant technical delivery/support responsibility.
- Team management and technology experience supporting 24x7 infrastructure services
- Experience managing teams delivering infrastructure, networking, ISS and CNI support


Technical knowledge or qualifications desirable in the following areas:

About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Tax Specialist to join our Tax team at Cadent Gas Ltd. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that the Group remains compliant with UK tax legislation and meets all tax reporting obligations. You will work closely with the Indirect Tax Manager and Direct Tax Manager, providing support across a broad range of tax matters and contributing to key projects within the Tax team.

As a Tax Specialist, you will engage in diverse tax-related activities, including scheduled and ad-hoc assurance work on employment tax and VAT risks. You will support the preparation and submission of VAT returns and other tax filings and assist in delivering tax training across the business. Additionally, you will advise on ad-hoc tax queries and undertake analysis under the guidance of the Tax Managers.

What you'll get to work on:





- Review and analyze financial data from various departments to aid in decision-making, providing informed tax-related recommendations.
- Support with the production of and completion of the quarterly VAT return and other indirect tax returns and support the collation of the annual PSA return to HMRC.
- Respond to HMRC queries in a timely and accurate manner.
- Undertake routine tax compliance activities across a range of business areas and contribute to adherence to the company’s tax strategy and effective tax risk management.
- Aid in delivering process efficiencies and optimizing tax-related processes.
- Prepare material to enable delivery of training to business functions and maintaining visibility of tax across the group
- Participate in strategic tax projects or business initiatives as required and assist the Tax Managers with tax-related configurations and implementations of new systems.
- Provide ad-hoc support and analysis to enhance the value of corporate tax reliefs, particularly Capital Allowances and R&D Allowances, to optimize capital expenditure.
- Support aspects of the corporate tax computations under the direction of the Direct Tax Manager.




Who are we looking for:




Qualifications:

- Recognized Accountancy Qualification (ACCA / ACA / Etc.)
- Tax qualification **desirable**

Practical Experience:

- Solid knowledge of either indirect taxation or direct taxation, with a willingness to develop expertise in the other area.
- Proficiency in SAP ECC, SAP BW, and SAP reporting systems.
- Organizational skills with the ability to meet tight statutory deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a small, collaborative team.

About the role:
The Property Contracts Manager is a pivotal role allowing business as usual delivery within Cadent Property to be efficient and a good value for money. They are responsible for managing contractors within the Property portfolio, including locally based small contractors as well as the Property departments major contracts and ensuring these contracts are well managed and are fit for purpose according to business requirements.

The Property Contracts manager will be responsible for property suppliers in line with contract SLAs/KPIs and service assurance Agreements and in addition, the role will support the central Property team in implementing property strategy and objectives with a significant contribution to property continuous improvement initiatives across all services.

Please note that to be considered for this role, you must be comfortable with being available for any out of hours emergency support, as and when it is required.

What you'll get to work on:





- Know the portfolio of sites and business needs – Through regular and proactive stakeholder management, communication and engagement. Ensure property services have a framework of suppliers to work with and ensure performance of these contracts and services meet the needs of the business.
- Chair stakeholder meetings, producing timely contract performance reporting of all property contracts & services with action plans.
- Feed into the Property portfolio budget (planning, forecasting and control) Develop, agree and implement Contract & Supplier cost savings plans to meet cost challenges and deliver best value for the property portfolio.
- On behalf of property, ensure Contractors align with and can support with initiatives that deliver ongoing energy consumption reduction, building environmental efficiencies and company sustainability targets.
- Represent Property in supplier sourcing events, ensuring regional service requirements are defined to either renew or tender FM contracts when required.
- Responsible for ensuring adequate support for Site Occupiers by Performance managing supply base and ensuring First Fix and Fast response to critical operational sites.
- Support the central property team in implementing property strategy and objectives with a significant contribution to property continuous improvement initiatives across all services.
- Ensure that all contracts are accurate and relevant documentation is correct and updated when necessary Manage and Maintain all Property Procedures, Processes and Documentation and to ensure all Contractors meet the necessary Accreditation and Health & Safety requirements. This must be evidenced, tracked, checked regularly and stored centrally.
- Support Cadent Procurement with all tender processes for property management services.

Skills and Experience


Working as part of a team and assisting the Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for attending gas escapes and carrying out appropriate repairs. You’ll need to have exceptional customer service skills, be extremely enthusiastic and have the ability to promote safe working practice, whilst driving efficiency and maintaining compliant ways of working.

Your day to day duties will include:

- Assisting the Team Leader
- Attending gas leaks
- Groundwork
- Excavations and reinstatements
- Utilising appropriate signing, lighting and guarding
- Ensuring cable avoidance
- Delivering equipment and tools where required
- Patrol and plant protection
- Working on deep excavations up to 2.5m
- Working on a standby rota system
- To carry out this role you must have a full valid drivers licence and be able to be clean shaven every day for health and safety
