The Maintenance Head is responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities to ensure optimal operation of machinery, equipment, and facilities within a semi-fabrication/metal parts manufacturing environment. This role involves managing a team, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and driving preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for all equipment and facilities.
- Lead and manage the maintenance team, ensuring proper training and skill development.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and operational issues promptly.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure smooth operations and minimal disruption.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability.
Job Requirement:
- Candidate should possess a Professional Certificates, Bachelor Degree, Diploma / Advanced Diploma or equivalent in Engineering (Electrical / Electronic),Engineering (Mechatronic / Electromechanical),Engineering (Mechanical)
- Preferably at least 4 years of related working experience.
- Preferably undefined specializing in Maintenance / Repair or equivalent.
- Good communication skills in English, Malay, Mandarin language for both spoken and written
