As a Workshop Supervisor, you will oversee workshop team, which will be reporting directly to you. Within this role, you will be responsible for a team of 20+ workshop technicians.

You will be reporting directly to the Operations Manager.

Your key responsibilities will be:


Supervise and motivate a team of 20+ workshop technicians, reviewing the daily tasks and ensuring that the team meets the targets and KPI’s whilst completing the work required to the highest standards
Co-ordinate day to day operations within the workshop/and liaise with internal departments to maximise efficiencies
Manage staff absences, approving holidays, manage staff meeting, review staff performance and skill-test potential new starters
Promote and lead the health, safety and welfare of all employees within the workshop
Implement company policies and/or customer requirements within workshop environment as required
To provide duty of care to staff working under your control
To ensure all staff working under your control abide by the site rules
Ensure all vehicles are parked within SLA’s provided by the individual Customer
To report to the Site Operations Manager anyone on site no abiding by site rules and Regulations


To be successful, you’ll bring some of the following experience with you:


Qualified to City and Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (preferred)
Previous body and paint workshop experience (essential)
Experienced in supervising a workshop (preferred)
Own a Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
Computer literate with experience of Microsoft Office- Outlook and Excel (essential)
Strong communication skills (essential)
Estimator and negotiation skills
Experience in a customer facing environment

Training bodyshop trainee staff


To be successful, you’ll bring some of the following experience with you:


Previous experience in a similar role as a Bodyshop Technician / Panel Beater
Full UK Driving Licence
Willing to support junior techs and offer support/expertise when needed.
You will be passionate to work within the motor industry and take pride in their work, to the highest standards of work set by customers
You will need to work independently on vehicles and have experience to make decisions when required

Your key responsibilities will be:


Carry out polishing of new painted panels, ensuring all dirt inclusions are removed and the overall finish matches the original factory finish
Repairing windscreens, plastic and interior repairs
Removing scratches and correcting minor paint work
Completing leather repairs
Ensuring that all Company documentation is accurately completed, and that all Company procedures are followed
Planning and managing time effectively to meet deadline and ensure workshop efficiency
Training new staff when required


To be successful, you’ll bring some of the following experience with you:


Previous experience in a similar role as a Bodyshop Technician / Smart Repairer / Quickfix
Full UK Driving Licence
Willing to support junior techs and offer support/expertise when needed.
