Due to growth in the region, we are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join Drägers high performing Medical Service team based in Queensland. If you have some field service experience, are open to learning and enjoy a hands-on position servicing our hospital customers, we would love to hear from you. Your role: Based in South-East Queensland and covering our client base across the whole of QLD with the occasional interstate trip, your strong customer relationship management skills and technical knowledge will ensure your success in this varied position. In your new position, you will focus on the preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and breakdown of Dräger medical devices across QLD including the installation of new devices, software upgrades, providing basic operating instructions and user training of devices. With access to our Head Office in Notting Hill, Vic and on the job training as well as formal technical manufacturer training, you will gain exposure to the whole range of Draeger’s medical portfolio, learning from the team. To meet our customers’ requirements, you will be required to work on the occasional weekend and after hours (paid overtime will be applicable). Who you are: You will be a graduate excited to gain learn the world of Biomedical Engineering or an experienced Field Service Engineer or Technician with experience of biomedical devices or equivalent with a Restricted Electrical Licence and ideally a Biomedical Engineering Degree / Electronics Diploma. Being a team player with excellent communication skills you will provide a high level of customer service in this highly regarded position. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be motivated to achieve your KPI’s and will be provided with a high level of autonomy. In turn your ability to learn new service skills and technical products will be paramount in this position. Added to this, your time management skills, strong communication skills and proficiency in MSOffice will be essential as is a current driver’s licence.
