What you will do        

Under direct supervision, tracks and provides direct support for the planned service agreement renewal process. Actively participates in accounts receivable activities such as collections and new customer authorizations. Provides back up customer call handling, as needed. Provides administrative, day to day support in the service operational areas.

How you will do it

1. May be responsible for the scheduling, tracking, and monitoring of the touch point plans and the contract renewal life cycle process with the account owners. Escalate issues to appropriate individuals for timely follow-up as required. May require direct interaction with customers for follow-up to secure purchase orders or to meet special invoicing conditions. 

2. Updates the Service delivery plans as required by team. 

3. Runs query reports, researches, and reconciles unaligned costs, such as labor hours, material purchases, expenses and other service-related transactions. 

4. May prepare and submit service billings in a special invoice format as defined by individual customer account special handling requirements. 

5. Reconciliation of accounts payable exceptions as necessary. 

6. Researches, resolves, or escalates accounts receivable disputes as outlined in the escalation process. Works with Accounts Receivables contact to assist with resolution of truck-based team A/R issues. Determines appropriate actions for timely resolution. If needed, will interact with Customer to resolve receivable issues. Processes invoice credits and re-bills, as necessary. Proactively contacts customers ensure customer satisfaction and a commitment to pay. 

7. Updates and retains customer account information related to special billing conditions, tax status, invoice approval contacts, billing addresses and special billing rates up to date. 

8. Support inventory control process including updating equipment asset transactions. 

9. Assist CSAs in resolution of warranty/SD warranty issues. 

10. Provide additional service administration support, as required.

Required

• Vocational School four year program graduate, an Associate’s degree in a technical field, or two years’ experience in servicing electronic and or mechanical systems.

What you will do

As a controls systems technician with Johnson Controls you will perform assigned system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools.

You will troubleshoot and resolve basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and control problems and respond to basic warranty calls

How you will do it

• Loads system-level controller software

• Performs basic commissioning and system diagnostics from system-level controllers to end devices (such as: sensors, actuators, etc.) and completes all required commissioning documentation

• Keeps management and JCI contractor or customer informed of job progress and issues

What you will do

Under minimal supervision, completes assigned programming, commissioning, basic troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of fire / security systems per contract obligations.

What you will do

As a Metro Market Lead Systems Specialist, for our HVAC division, you will under general direction, act as the on-site project leader to plan, implement, and complete control systems projects with assigned customers. Performs or delegates tasks as required to implement and fully complete assigned projects including: hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, system and network commissioning and project closeout. Provide work direction to subcontractors, electrical installers, technicians, designers, and administration as vital. You will be responsible for the overall financial results of assigned projects including: costs, project billings, and collections. Coordinates communication with the customer during all phases of the project, actively pursues selling change orders. Our Early Career Sales Engineering (BEST) Program is a 4-month technical sales development program for Recent College Graduates that focuses on creating market share by strategic selling Johnson Controls’ HVAC products and services to commercial customers. In this program you will have a chance to apply your technical engineering knowledge and business acumen to work with customers to better understand their product and project needs by being the subject matter expert.
