We are seeking a Supply Planner to join our team in Macquarie Park, Sydney.
Responsibilities:
Maintain demand planning activities such as forecast profiles, new products, conversion strategies, contracts and tenders through to order creation and fulfilment, ensuring the international suppliers and manufacturing divisions meet the requirements of both Australian and New Zealand markets.
Review historical demand trends and drivers to prepare statistical forecast modules.
Lead the Demand consensus monthly meetings to discuss high variances for actual demand vs forecast, highlight erratic and trending demand, and review of sales budget to finance impact.
Contribute to cross functional monthly Sales & Operations meetings to help the business keep supply and demand in balance and achieve operational KPI’s and service performance goals to customers.
Liaise with supply sites, centres of excellence, customer service, distribution, and shipping teams to ensure action are executed as planned
Control, monitor and maintain product inventories in accordance with safety stock levels and future day sales requirements. Trouble shoot issues and matters as they arise.
Manage backorder reporting, including the communication to the Customer Service, Marketing and sales teams.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Proven Supply planning experience
Demonstrated analytical skills
Able to build and develop strong relationships with people at all levels, both internally and externally, and to lead cross-functional groups to deliver superior customer service
Strong organisational and planning skills
Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
Relevant tertiary business qualifications required
Self-motivated, independent and resilient
Healthcare industry experience highly desirable
Demonstrated qualification or knowledge in the following:
APIC’s
Supply Chain Management & Logistics
Inventory Planning & Procurement
SAP/Supply Chain Process and planning
This is a full-time field-based role in Sydney.
Salary range is $75,000 - $85,000 base plus superannuation (commensurate with experience).
