Day to Day

• Collection and delivery of small to large high-value consignments that require special handling conditions
• Consistently ensure customer expectations are met
• Ensure all documentation is completed and returned accurately at the end of each shift

What will you bring?

What is the job?

This is a Class 1 HGV Job. The work will vary between days and nights, however it will normally transporting curtain sider trailers to customer depots around the UK. The job also involves trailer drop and swaps to different UK Ports.

The job is mostly Monday to Friday, days 0600-0700 starts, nights normally 1800 starts. Weekend overtime is available during busy peak periods.

Driver Requirements

Ideally drivers will have prior experience with curtainsided trailers

Must have excellent knowledge of WTD

Good geographical knowledge

You must have a Class 1 (C+E) licence, digi card and CPC

For insurance purposes you will need to have had 12 months HGV Experience

What to expect

As a customer delivery driver and the face of the company, we'll need you to safely deliver building materials to our customers with a professional and friendly approach. Every day is different, from the number of drops you'll do, to where you will be delivering. You'll be loading and unloading, operating the crane and supporting team members when needed, offering you job satisfaction in an incredibly varied role.

What are we looking for?

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• A valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card
• Whilst multidrop experience is handy, it's not a necessity

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience; Basic Salary: £37,000, OTE up to £43,000 plus benefits
Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 08:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Alternate Saturdays: 08:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair vehicle faults using advanced diagnostic equipment.
Perform complex repairs, including engine overhauls, transmission repairs, and electronic systems.
Mentor and guide junior technicians, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
Ensure all work is completed efficiently and in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester Role
Salary: Basic Salary: £30,300, OTE up to £38,000 plus benefits
Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 08:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Alternate Saturdays: 08:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct vehicle servicing, ensuring all checks are performed to a high standard.
Perform diagnostics to identify and rectify vehicle issues.
Carry out general repairs, including brakes, suspension, and exhaust systems.
Assist in the preparation for MOT testing, ensuring vehicles are roadworthy.
Maintain accurate records of all work carried out and communicate effectively with customers.
