You will serve as a Supervisory Marine Transportation Specialist and be responsible for identifying and providing capabilities, competencies, capacity; and developing doctrine and policy for the staffing, equipping, sustaining, and employing Coast Guard forces to meet Marine Safety mission requirements.

• Manufacturing a variety of aircraft specific or specialized "breakout boxes" and panels to facilitate testing of electrical systems.
• Maintaining test equipment, tools and HAZ-MAT.
• Training employees with lesser skills in the Aircraft Electrician activities.

You will serve as an Aircraft Examiner and be responsible for developing and monitoring production and maintenance schedules and related information and technical data in support of the (Program Depot Maintenance) PDM process. The position is also responsible for assisting in the long­ range planning (1-5 years) that allows the PDM process to meet headquarters requirements.

• Preparing cost estimate reports, outlining parts and material required to repair aircraft, as well as forecasting labor requirements and cost to accomplish needed repair, overhaul, and modification.

• Providing technical and practical assistance to all shops with particular problems, making recommendations and assisting in corrective actions.
• Creating, maintaining, and updating component repair and manufacturing work order routing tag databases.
• Observing, analyzing, and controlling production operations to ensure schedules are being followed.
• Building schedules using Concerto and Primavera software to support Drop In maintenance for PDM and other aircraft assigned to ALC.

You will serve as an Aircraft Mechanic Leader and be responsible for provide leadership and/or training and perform journeymen level aircraft mechanic work.
