- Defines targets for business areas such as parts wholesales, independent workshops
- Prepares sales and profit planning for parts and accessories
- Ensures profit target achievement.
- Manages risk (financial and non financial) within department
- Responsible for annual budget of Parts Department
- Compiles and implements a marketing plan
- Plans and undertakes marketing activities (telephone marketing and marketing)
- Performs local market and competition analyses to establish the situation of the home dealership
- Does analysis on price marking up of parts and accessories
- Prepares offers with regard to profit targets
- Canvasses for business from independent workshops
- Promotes actively and maintains relations with independent workshops in order to achieve a high level of sales and to safeguard the dealership's position compared to other parts vendors
- Presents the sales of accessories in an attractive and sales-promoting manner to increase the sale of accessories
- Prospects new business and visit potential independent workshops and trade customers
- Ensures a high level of service and turnover within his area of responsibility
- Controls parts sales advisors on the basis of defined key figures
- Conducts regular meetings to discuss target agreements/feedback and achievement
- Conducts annual appraisal process with his parts sales employees which includes the definition of an individual development plan for each employee
- Acts as a role model and ensures brand-compatible employee behavior
- Is responsible for planning, purchasing and sales of parts and accessories
- Responsible for achieving the targets relating to sales and profits for parts and accessories from wholesales and 4th level sales
- Responsible for achieving the highest possible parts and accessories sales potential in dealership to meet yearly parts purchase target and 4th level parts target
- Responsible for achieving the monthly parts sales and profits for parts & accessories from workshop
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Good general education degree or equivalent Business and/or technical training
- Driving license Good IT skills
- Inventory warehousing and distribution experience
- Professional experience as salesperson Leadership experience
- Experience in a motor car company/industry
