The Director of Institutional Research and Assessment is responsible for developing, leading, and managing a comprehensive institutional research and assessment program at the college level. As the program lead for institutional research, assessment and accreditation, he or she provides direction for data governance strategies and policies, assessment policies and practices, accreditation compliance and institutional reporting. More specifically, the Director will:

Institutional Research

1. Contribute to the management of the program for data analytics;
2. Develop and improve institutional analytical capabilities, including providing technical guidance on analytic methods and tools;
3. Support institutional assessment of NUD's effectiveness in attaining strategic objectives;
4. Ensure accurate and timely reporting to fulfill regulatory requirements;

1. Support institutional assessment of NDU's effectiveness in attaining learning outcomes;
2. Develop and execute assessment policies and coordinate assessment activities within a program and across the university, including data collection, analysis, and reporting;
3. Develop and implement assessment plans in collaboration with faculty and leadership to measure and ensure achievement of Program Learning Outcomes;
4. Summarize, present and report highly complex assessment data results appropriate to audience and purpose;
5. Contribute to curriculum development by assisting faculty and leadership in developing/identifying learning outcomes, selecting and developing assessment techniques, designing and developing rubrics, collecting and analyzing data, and using results to make curricular improvements;
6. Maintain currency in best practices in assessment (direct and indirect); and support faculty/curriculum developers as the lead expert for developing rubrics to effectively measure achievement of Program Learning Outcomes;
7. Routinely provide technical and assessment/evaluation guidance and expertise to others.

1. Serve as the program accreditation expert, routinely providing expertise in accreditation standards, practices and procedures to others;

As a Biological Science Technician (Fisheries) within the Eastern Ecological Science Center, some of your specific duties will include:

• Assist in ecological investigations on a river/stream, in a boat, wet lab, unheated flume/hatchery facility or other field environment.
• Rear fish in ponds, tanks, and raceways and preform associated laboratory maintenance and animal care protocols.
• Install, configure, and operate radio and passive integrated transponder (PIT) telemetry system; perform system operation checks; and retrieve data.

The Budget Division (DOB), situated within the NSF Office of Budget, Finance, and Award Management (BFA), has Foundation-wide responsibility for long-range budget planning; program analysis; budget preparation, presentation, and execution activities; and analytic studies related to budget and program activities. As a STUDENT TRAINEE (MANAGEMENT ANALYST), you will perform the following duties:

As a Business Operations Coordinator, GS-0301-14 MP, you will perform the following duties:

Strategic Planning and Policy

• Reviews agency directives, action memoranda, and other relevant documentation to remain current on proposed and pending actions which may affect assigned responsibilities and impact the organization's operations policies, principles, and procedures.
• Makes recommendations to the CBO and senior leadership that outline operational changes necessary to adhere to systems, principles, and procedures; ensure proper financial action and assignment of directorate/office responsibilities; address impact of regulations or new procedures and actions required to implement them; and project cost estimates for implementing operational strategies.

The Division of Financial Management (DFM), situated within the NSF Office of Budget, Finance, and Award Management (BFA), is responsible for the financial management aspects of the CFO Act of 1990. The division is responsible for NSF's financial reporting, financial management, grantee business office relationships and outreach, payment of vendors and managing NSF's financial management systems, and coordination of the annual financial statement audit with BFA Offices, Program Directorates, OD, and OIG external stakeholders to maintain internal control over financial reporting and improper payment oversight.
