1. Support the Team Leader with day-to-day Project Management and Implementation Activities

• Collaborate with the team members, Government partners, provincial project management units, consultants, partners, and relevant stakeholders to execute the Work Plan and key milestones.

• Demonstrated experience in successful tape-outs of ultra-low voltage chips, large-scale chips, and complex IPs under advanced technology.
• Experience in planning and executing ESD strategies.

• Familiarity with advanced technology signoff standards is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of low power design methodologies and power analysis processes.
• Experience in PPA optimization is highly desirable.

Job Description:

• Research & Development for machine tool products and technologies (CNC Milling Machines and it’s Automation) with strong guidance by experienced senior-engineers along the career-path
• New Software-Development as well as Software Design for our existing Series Products
• Software Development of Customized Machines for our customers
• Prototyping in dedicated R&D-Lab
• Collaboration with extensive global network of Makino R&Ds, Sales-Regions and Key-Suppliers
• Follow the workplace safety and health system, safe work procedures or safety rules implemented at the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand customer requirement and decide on the specification
• Prepare specification and testing method documents
• Prepare software (PLC - Ladder, C/C++, VB etc..)
• Test software on simulator / actual machine
• Prepare operator / maintenance manuals
• Release software and related document for distribution / record purposes
• Develop new functions to improve productivity and give good features to have added advantage over the competitor products
• Involve in the design of HMI / Servo turning / PLC programming / Parameterization / Commissioning

Job Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma/ Degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics or equivalent
• Have at least 3 years of experience working in Machine Tool Software Design
• Working experience on SiEMENS SINUMERIK CNC controller with HMI / Servo turning / PLC programming / Parameterization / Commissioning is a must.
• Strong interest in product for the production-environment as key-enabler for many innovative products.
• Creativity for innovative solutions as well as strong analytical skills for problem-solving and can do hands-on works (testing)
• Able to take responsibility and ownership.
• Willing to travel to customer site for technical discussion / project implementation when required.
• Good and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize, design, and develop metrology systems for semiconductor manufacturing industry, emphasizing multidisciplinary engineering skills and latest technologies.
• Facilitate design reviews with cross-functional teams (software, optics, mechanical) to refine engineering concepts.
• Create preliminary schematics, final designs, calculations, equipment selection, and layouts.
• Conduct lab experiments to validate prototype specifications.
• Perform tests and analyze raw data from metrology systems.
• Prepare reports for feasibility studies, new parts evaluation, failure analysis, and cost studies.
• Generate manufacturing documentation and collaborate on the release of new solutions and resolution of production-related issues.
• Facilitate internal and customer meetings.
• Travel as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physics or Mechatronics Engineering
• With 4-6 years of working experience in the similar role.
• Experience in optics applications and high precision mechanics.
• Proficiency in Python and statistical analysis is advantageous.
