Role: Sales Consultant
Location: Bedford
Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00-17:30
Salary: 25-27k plus commission
About our client:
A Bedford Based Insurance Brokers , Providing Personal Lines & Commercial Insurance Nationwide.
About the role:
You will generate revenue by selling/upselling products to prospects/ existing clients.
What you’ll be doing:
• Identifying and reaching out to potential clients through cold calling, networking, referrals, and other lead generation methods.
• Implementing effective Marketing strategies to sell new Insurance products or adjust existing products
• Building strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service, addressing concerns, and maintaining regular communication
• Managing existing client accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, and seeking opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products or services
• Working towards KPIs
• Assisting potential or existing clients with their insurance requirements and offering appropriate quotations on insurance products.
• Building relationships with underwriters to assist in more efficient and beneficial interactions.
• Updating appetite guides as and when required.
• Updating internal sales lists as and when required.
• Assisting renewals with complex/hard to place risks.
• Sourcing new markets for all types of insurance.
• Assisting other departments when required to do so due to staff shortages.

What we would like from you:

• Experience in Insurance would be advantageous however full training will be provided
