JOB PURPOSE

In line with the Head Office and regional policies, the MSC Cruises' strategy and the Sales objectives, the Sales Director South East Asia leads the Sales strategy, contributes to and implements the sales action plan for the region in order to achieve revenue, cost and other commercial targets to ensure the efficient running of the sales operations for the start-up for the region.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

In line with the strategic guidelines of MSC Cruises, under the leadership of the VP Commercial Area, the Sales Director South East Asia is responsible for the following start-up activities:

• Leads, governs, coordinates and develops the MSC Sales strategy, including distribution, pricing and sales; in coordination with the headquarter in Geneva in South East Asia in order to optimize revenue, margin and market share
• Identifies new market potential and adapts quickly and effectively to changes in the market by prognosis and tactical planning;
• Identifies and evaluates business opportunities with strategic partners relevant to MSC Cruises as well as potential new customers;
• Develops sales plans;
• Leads negotiations with local partners and contractors and is in direct contact with MSC Cruises' major partners throughout the countries in scope;
• Participates in and organizes partner events in order to strengthen long term business relationships;
• Liaises with MSC's head office in Geneva to ensure the effective integration of the region business in the company's overall sales plans.

QUALIFICATIONS (skills, competencies, experience)

Channels:

The team works with customers to identify and then assist in mitigating client risks and we’re strongly aligned with the financing teams in Corporate & Institutional Coverage (CIC) to achieve this goal. • Work with Regional Property Managers and Property Managers on creating and implementing strategic marketing plans.

• Develop community marketing budgets. Operate within this budget and make recommendations for marketing (advertisements, collateral, promotional events and gifts) as necessary.

• Coach community staff on how to properly engage, track and follow-up with neighborhood outreach efforts.

• Monitor community marketing initiatives in accordance with the strategic plan and adjust based on specific needs to maximize traffic.

• Maintain knowledge of competitive market conditions. Obtain and review a copy of the market survey for each community.

• Knowledge of and ability to extract management information from all management sources and systems and ability this data to each community’s marketing needs. (Review analytics and make recommendations)

• Support marketing initiatives at the community level by reinforcing monthly marketing calls, new resources/rollouts and providing training and coaching to staff as necessary. On a limited basis, review collateral material from both internal and external graphic design and printing sources.

• Provide feedback to ensure all marketing communication material adheres to brand standards. Recognize any collateral or business practices that are not in accordance with Cushman & Wakefield brand standards or other requirements. Provide assistance in updating these items to the company standards.

• Understand various marketing products to be able to ensure correct pricing, availability, photos, etc. is being shown online.

• Assist with facilitation of monthly marketing calls.

• Ability to troubleshoot a struggling asset and come up with an action plan to increase occupancy, resolve challenges, etc.

• Attend bimonthly RVP calls with your regions. Prepare discussion materials for regional meetings. Monitor the execution and completion of tasks identified during these meetings or calls

• Participate in new business opportunities within the region and be the primary point of contact for Marketing with new business endeavors within the region.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Education and/or Experience: College degree or 3 plus years of industry experience in a marketing discipline.

The Markets In-Business Risk (IBR) is a newly established Front office 1st Line of Defense team responsible for market risk across asset classes within Citi’s Global Markets division.  One of the mandates is to implement a new operating model across in-business risk teams to ensure that in the first line we are identifying, monitoring and managing Market Risk and optimize capital based risk metrics to achieve business strategic objective of improving financial resource productivity.  The team is looking to make a senior hire to lead efforts on Stress Testing and Market Risk Capital usage modelling within Markets.

Some key responsibilities including:

• Understand firm’s overall risk appetite and capital framework to allow effective optimization and allocation of risk appetite
• Understand current methodologies/models and processes for Stress Scenarios/CCAR/RWA/VAR/FRTB workstreams impacting TCE usage for the business
• Be the point person and partner with Desks/Quants/Market Risk/Technology and other relevant teams to propose and drive any relevant improvements to the current methodologies
• Understand the underlying data and time series used in various models and lead FO efforts to vet these.

• Identify and monitor systemic and idiosyncratic risks across businesses and identify any rising material risk events
• Closely track performances of products within Markets on a regular basis, understand the drivers of market movements across different asset classes, analyze notable trends to form relative value and forward-looking view of material risks
• Coordinate with business heads and technology team to develop a robust and comprehensive risk monitoring framework that allows the business to manage the overall risk positions in real time

Additionally, as a senior leader within the Market IBR team, you would be expected to:
