The EEU is a new Unit formed to support the identification, support and facilitation of research, innovation and enterprise activity at the University. The Enquiries team within EEU will be the first point of contact for our ‘front door model’, for enquirers and as such you will be expected to have an excellent knowledge of what the university can offer and how we can support enquirers.

As part of the Research and Enterprise Service, EEU contributes to the delivery of the University’s strategic objectives particularly in relation research and knowledge exchange. The enquiries team within EEU will have specific responsibility for capturing enquiries, logging them on our CRM system and then triaging them to determine their flow through the organisation ensuring that enquiries are dealt with in a professional manner. This role will provide general administrative support to deliver these activities.

The successful applicant will have demonstrable experience of current administrative/clerical practices in a busy office environment and experience of customer service, organising, updating and maintaining accurate computerised records and files. An ability to organise and present information both verbally and in writing is required along with experience of working in an environment with a high degree of customer contact. You will work closely with other members of the administrative and academic team, as required.

The successful applicants will also have a range of GCSEs, including English Language and Maths at Grade C/Grade 4 or above, or appropriate equivalent experiential learning and the ability to work consistently under pressure, prioritise work and meet deadlines. The Diagnostics Team support Integrated Care systems to deliver the diagnostics transformation, specifically supporting network formation, review of clinical pathways and implementation of Community Diagnostic Hubs. This role will provide programme and project management support to the Senior Diagnostic Transformation Managers as well as the wider NW Diagnostic Team, Senior Managers, Directors and stakeholders.

The post holder will work as part of a team in delivering an efficient and effective administrative support to the senior members of the team.





Key Responsibilities will include:
• Undertaking all administrative duties sorting and prioritising emails from the NW Diagnostic mailbox where required and distributing as appropriate.
• Managing the NW Diagnostic electronic diary for the team, including arranging and changing meetings prioritising these as appropriate.
• Organising and planning events and meetings as directed, providing all necessary supporting materials and papers
• Plan and co-ordinate appointments , including rearranging and prioritising as appropriate.
• Organise travel arrangements for the wider team, booking rail and accommodation in line with policy
• Prepare agendas, take minutes, track and follow up on actions and distribute notes of meetings.
• Purchase orders and invoices on Oracle.

The Ideal Candidate

Having experience in retail isn\'t essential. We’ll show you how to use the tills and find stock.

It can get pretty busy in store, so you’ll need to be comfortable being on your feet, working at a fast pace and OK changing your priorities during each shift.

We look for people to work across 1000+ stores over the festive season so you might be able to work across a few close-by stores if you are available for more hours. This is optional and we’ll chat to you in your interview more about how this would work.

As a Branch Assistant, you will be the face of our wholesale branch, providing excellent customer service on the Trade Counter to trade professionals and members of the public whilst taking ownership of shop displays to highlight promotions and store offers.

Our wholesale branches are a little different to a normal retail store, we have a trade counter instead of a shop floor, a warehouse instead of a stockroom alongside a sales team & delivery driver - This means that no 2 days are the same for our Branch Assistants.

Your role at Superdrug as one of our Festive Sales Advisers will be all about serving customers where you will deliver excellent service and make sure customers don’t miss out on any of our great Star Buys. You’ll help ensure that the store is well stocked, and a high level of store presentation is maintained and will actively be involved in achieving the store targets. To support your development, you’ll also can be trained in ear and nose piercing to support our fast-growing piercing business in store.

Optical Customer Service Advisor- Role

• Head office based role
• Provide customers with a variety of solutions, support and information at the time of interaction. Topics include order chase, order place, order queries, stock issues, technical, resolve EDI queries, deliveries, pricing and promotion.
• Deliver Customer call backs to agreed timeline
• Log all calls received or made
• Accurately and precisely enter/process orders, POS and credits same day, applying knowledge of products
• Expedite urgent orders
• Resolve technical issues using help desk function if necessary
• Contract account managers with any account related issues
• To build long term relationships with our customer & to build rapport on every customer touch point
• Any other departmental function as directed by the Manager
• Liaise with other departments

Optical Customer Advisor - Requirements

• 1+ years experience of working as an Optical Assistant
• Excellent understanding of customer service
• Ability to develop relationships
