What is the role?

We are looking for a C++ Library Developer to join our team. This role will work within a project team and is focused on enhancing and supporting our cross-platform SDK that assists game developers with integrating the mod.io service in their game. As our C++ Middleware Developer (iOS and Android), you will work within a team focused on enhancing and supporting our cross-platform SDK that assists game developers with integrating the mod.io service in their game.  You will be responsible for all mobile development and support.

Engineering

• Maintain and improve our C++17 SDK that provides user, download, and request management services and acts as a front-end to our REST API service.
• Test and implement your design on Mobile Devices (iOS and Android phones and tablets), VR including Oculus, Mac, Linux, Windows and consoles to create a cross-platform solution.
• Platform and service configuration, provisioning etc for mobile platforms

Technical Skills and Experience:

• Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.

• Proficiency in software development using C++.

• Proficiency in multi-threading, multi-processor environments, and hardware-software integration.

• Strong problem-solving, design, development, research, and debugging skills.

• Experience with Visual Studio C++ and embedded Linux/QNX environments.

• Experience with interfaces such as LAN and RS232 protocols.

• Experience developing and debugging embedded system applications.

• Experience in device/terminal applications development and client/server interfaces.

• Knowledge of wireless networks, Bluetooth, 3G networks, QR codes, and GPS technologies.

• Excellent communication skills required to speak to internal stake holders.
