Job Summary

Reporting to the Director (Corporate Communications), the Executive/Senior Executive (Corporate Communications) will assist in managing the full spectrum of FAS/SPL communications functions including conceptualisation and implementation of creative media and communications strategies.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist the management in supervising the Corporate Communications team on achieving departmental KPIs
• Monitor, manage and provide critical analysis of daily media reports. Prepare weekly reports. Handle feedback and conflict resolution
• Analyse the nature and angle of media enquiries. Strategize and coordinate responses to media queries
• Establish good collaborative working relationships with various key media
• Develop and execute vibrant public relations plans to communicate key messages, generate publicity for FAS, SPL and our partners
• Solicit feedback and information from our stakeholders to enable the FAS and SPL to be more responsive to external expectations. Attend to external enquiries and complaints
• Research, evaluate and drive content development based on the content strategy. This includes bylines, social media content, and speaking content
• Implement social media strategies, monitor data from our digital platforms and discover insights to better and produce/curate content for platforms
• Ensure compliance of media directives by all departments, SPL clubs and standing committees. Manage all creative services and handle databases and library of materials
• Provide editorial support to the FAS and SPL websites
• Assist in FAS/SPL events with the overall objective of creating publicity for the organization and/or stakeholders
• Provide administrative support and any other assigned tasks to ensure smooth running of the department operations
• Undertake any other duties as assigned Director (Corporate Communications) and/or the General Secretary

Your new role
As an Assistant Manager or Manager within this Corporate Tax team, you will work with owner managed and corporate clients from a range of industries to deliver high quality compliance and advisory services. You will work proactively to identify advisory opportunities, working with senior members of the team to deliver comprehensive tax projects across a range of matters such as due diligence work, restructuring, demergers, share valuations, CFCs, R&D claims and a range of other tax considerations. Additionally, you will manage tax compliance work, reviewing the work of junior members of the team and supporting their development through effective feedback and coaching.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be ACCA/ ACA qualified as a minimum and will be ideally CTA qualified or studying towards CTA exams with a good exam track record. You will have prior corporate tax experience working with SME businesses and will be adept at developing excellent relationships both internally and externally.

OVERVIEW:

The Corporate Planning function at HMI Medical plays a pivotal role in driving integration and synergies across key entities within the Group. - Be a brand guardian for The Garcha Group, setting the tone as well as the look & feel ofall communication.
