SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The purpose of this position is to provide trained and qualified Air and Space Operations Center (AOC) Command and Control (C2) warriors to augment MAJCOM deployable AOCs worldwide at the operational level of war. The state mission is to provide support to civil authorities, as directed by the Governor, for disaster relief, public safety, search and rescue, and civil defense, and Continuity of Operations. Must be trained and ready to function in a senior level position in a coalition AOC reporting to the C/JFACC at the 3-star level. Accordingly, must direct all actions that prepare unit members to perform at the operational level of war in an AOC. Responsibility to possess a working knowledge of all Air Force Weapon Systems and their capabilities, as well as a clear understanding of the systems and capabilities of other DOD components, NATO nations, and other coalition partners. This mastery level knowledge is required to sustain the development and execution of a daily Air Tasking Order for a minimum of 30 days at 500 missions per day. Due to the unique mission of the, C-MAJCOM, this PD cannot be used in any other organization.

Under direction of management develops schedule to ensure the Quality Assurance Evaluation Program is conducted in accordance with Air Force (AF) Standards. Inspects lodging rooms, buildings, grounds, parking lots and other areas such as offices, day rooms, hallways and storage areas for quality and quantity of work performed by all employees. Evaluates and updates all general room instructions to include: guest directories, fire evacuation procedures, equipment instructions, sundry price listings, and informational signage. Corrects publications as required. Reviews guest feedback, analyzes data, and informs Lodging Manager of issues or areas requiring correction. Tracks trends in performance and conducts hospitality specific training to improve overall guest service and compliance with established standards. Responsible for monitoring the Lodging Educational Institute training program in accordance with Air Force Lodging standards. Works with section supervisors to determine training needs. Oversees small study groups or self-directed studies as needed to complete lodging courses. Ensures completion of hospitality training required for certification with AH&LA/ Educational Institute. Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following:

• Provides expert advice and assistance to the Scientific Analysis (SA) Director, Laboratory Director and Deputy Laboratory Directors in Hawaii and Nebraska.

• Is the Lead Security Manager for the SA Directorate and liaises with DPAA Security Directorate officials. Incumbent is the Point of Contact with the DPAA Logistics Directorate regarding aspects of security for the laboratory.

• As a Contracting Officer Representative, Evaluates the Quality Management System, ensuring that all contractual, regulatory, and administrative requirements are met.

As a Theater Aerospace Operations Command and Control Specialist, GS-2101-11, you will administer refresher and advance training to ANG military AOC weapons systems positional specialists. Instruct and evaluate AOC assigned technician personnel in advanced aerospace operations applications using current AOC weapons systems of record. Instruct and evaluate enlisted AOC specialties to become instructors. Instruct same to function within established joint doctrinal principles to support the planning and prosecution of theater level joint operations. Monitor progress during training and advise when AOC personnel are ready for positional certification. Interview assigned enlisted AOC personnel to determine operational background in their respective weapons systems/specialties. Prescribe type, sequence, and extent of required training. Perform as instructor and/or examiner, evaluating and examining AOC personnel to determine preparation for the application of aerospace force/operations, proficiency during actual operations, instructional ability, technical competence, and post operations critique.
