We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Wiltshire Pension Fund as a Quality Assurance Lead to ensure that pension administration team continue to maintain its high standards, carry out process reviews and help the Fund achieve external accreditations.
The Wiltshire Pension Fund ensures all pension benefits are paid correctly, on a timely basis and in line with the scheme regulations. It manages the relationships with the Fund’s 180+ scheme employers, overseeing the admission and cessation of these organisations.
As a Quality Assurance Lead you will provide specialist compliance input and support for member and employer services, ensuring regulatory requirements are met.
You will audit, comment on, and approve processes and reporting standards and produce compliance and training materials and offer technical support by interpreting relevant regulations. You will also train the team on regulatory changes and maintain consistent processes, empowering them to comply with regulations effectively.
You will also be the main point of contact for both internal and external audits in pension administration process. You will also lead on the Fund’s external professional accreditation processes.
We are looking for a candidate who has experience either in LGPS pensions and/or has held technical roles in Defined Benefit administration environments and an understanding of pension regulations, associated tax rules and dealing with internal and external stakeholders. To excel in this role you must bring with you the skills to lead, manage, motivate and support teams to achieve excellent results.
We are based in County Hall, Trowbridge and is a hybrid role with two days office based.
