FTC (3 Months) Credit Control- Goole, East Yorkshire

Search Consultancy is supporting a global company in recruiting an experienced Credit Controller for a 3-month fixed-term contract at their office in Goole.

This is an excellent opportunity for a self motivated and reliable candidate seeking a new challenge and eager to support their finance team.

The role involves chasing payments, controlling accounts, handling queries and coming up with solutions as well as collecting overdue invoices, reporting and reducing bad reports. You will also be making sure records are kept up to date and using financial software systems.

To be considered for this role, you should ideally have at least 1 years of experience in credit control. You will also have strong communication skills, good team player, excellent organisation skills as well as being capable of working under pressure. You also will be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and experienced in systems like SAP.

The role offers a competitive salary and is full time working in the office: 9:00 am-5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. In addition there are some great benefits.

Your new role
Oversee all facets of the credit control process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts and maintaining accurate records.

• Collaborate with solicitors to escalate overdue accounts to legal action when necessary, ensuring compliance with legal procedures and company policies.
• Maintain regular communication with customers to address payment issues and updates. Coordinate with other teams to ensure seamless information flow and support.
• Generate detailed debt reports upon request, providing insights and data to assist in financial decision-making and strategy.
• Accurately code financial transactions and updates in the system, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
• Handle card receipts and cash inputs efficiently, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and promptly.
• Provide general support to other teams as needed, assisting with various tasks to ensure smooth operations and collaboration.

Our client, a not-for-profit housing association require a Head of Building Safety and Compliance Manager. The role is working on a FTC basis for 6 months reporting into the Director of Building Safety and Compliance.
