This role is mostly remote however candidates are expected to travel between sites in Daventry, Darlington or Huddersfield. (You will be on site every 2-3 weeks for projects)

Import/export experience is required or alternatively knowledge of supply chain such as transport, logistics or shipping. Advanced Excel knowledge is essential, as the data will be analysed via through extensive spreadsheets.

Manage and maintain controlled processes including: tariff code classification, record keeping, country of origin and preferential trade calculations.

Research and monitor import/export activity for all business units, local laws and procedures; gather, enter, and manages import/export data, prepares summaries for review

As a Sales Engineer at QA, you will play an essential role within the business and hugely impact its growth. Reporting directly into the Director of Sales Enablement and Solutions, you will be providing world-class pre-sales support for our enterprise sales team.

Your Responsibilities

• Enthusiastically lead prospective customers to the expected business outcomes of our platform.
• Deliver outstanding product demonstrations through powerful storytelling and articulation of how our software provides value to customers
• Promote our platform at events such as AWS reinvent, Microsoft Ignite, etc.
• Continuously strive for improvement in all skill areas and maintain up-to-date knowledge regarding our solution as well as industry trends and technologies.
• Work closely with sales partners to qualify, drive opportunities and determine sales motions within accounts.
• Collaborate with multiple internal teams such as product management, engineering, customer success and marketing.
• Be passionate about sales engineering and working with customers.

About you

• Experience with selling and delivering SaaS products to enterprise operations teams
• Experience of working with SALESFORCE combined with AWS, GCP or MS Azure
• Ability to work directly with customers with a strong commitment to their success
• Strong presentation skills, including live product demos and technical pitches
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including a dynamic and engaging presentation style that inspires confidence

Your new role
You will be responsible for Product Compliance and Quality, including Quality Assurance (collaborating with Suppliers to ensure pre-shipment quality), Quality Control (ownership of quality related issues and implementing corrective action plans), and Regulatory Compliance in various sales territories. You will also be a point of escalation for Customer Service and Warranty Support, and play a key part in New Product Development supporting Product and Design teams as they bring new and improved products through testing and to market.

What you'll need to succeed
Formal Qualifications in Quality Management are useful but not essential. Most important is a demonstrable track record of success within a similar role, and your CV will contain relevant achievements. You will have experience working within a manufacturing business (consumer products is an advantage), supporting overall business objectives by driving improvements in Quality and Compliance. You will enjoy solving problems, and be process focused, able to use metrics to understand performance across relevant business functions, and proactively drive changes that will enable continuous improvement of those metrics. You will also have the ambition to grow your team and play a key leadership role within this rapidly expanding company.

Responsibilities

Inspect all goods in to ensure that they meet the required standards.

Utilise AutoCAD to check incoming and inhouse produced work against engineering drawings.

Good working knowledge of the Microsoft suit, in particular MS Excel to check the status of orders.

Inspect internal work completed before going out for any subcontracting process to be completed and re-inspect when it comes back completed.

Work alongside the Shop Floor Charghand to ensure fabrications completed are of the required standard before going on to assembly.

Identify the cause of poor standard work received and work alongside other departments to ensure that our suppliers are of the highest quality standards.

Produce reports on Quality Standards throughout the business and set standards for both companies personnel and work that is sub contracted.

Work with team members to maximise productivity and efficiency.

Work closely with the Procurement Manager to highlight and resolve issues quickly

What you will need is - HNC in Mechanical Engineering, 3 years exp in similar role, Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD and you will be flexible to work away both in the UK and Overseas (ALL expensives paid for)
