The Quality Improvement Coordinator is an integral part of the Patient Safety & Improvement team, providing Quality Improvement capabilities across the Trust with a focus on clinical improvement.

This role will support the Quality Improvement Manager to deliver the Trust strategy with particular focus on the development and implementation of clinical improvement projects related to and including the Patient Safety and Improvement priorities.

The post holder will support projects which improve patient safety and clinical effectiveness, including patient experience across the Trust. As part of the Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Team, the post holder will contribute to the corporate aims and objectives of the organisation and will be a source of advice to improving the safety and quality care.

The post holder will be required to support the Quality Improvement Manager to facilitate a number of priorities at the same time, at pace and ensuring that in practice change is sustainable.

The post holder will be required to work on their own initiative and support all levels of the organisation, including Executive Directors, senior clinicians, managers, internal and external stakeholders.

The Quality Improvement Coordinator will support the Quality Improvement Manager to utilise programme governance principles, applying improvement methodologies, including reporting, leading project reviews and analysis and providing detailed updates and assurance against the planned and forecast position of projects and Quality Improvement.

Location: Kings Lynn
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000, dependent on qualifications and experience, £45,000 OTE.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm hours and 1 in 3 Saturday mornings.

The post holder will manage the day to day activities of the Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Team. Ensuring that staff comply with IPC policies in order to reduce health care acquired infections. The postholder is responsible along with other members of the IPC team for prevention, surveillance, investigation and control of infection in Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH), Kings Lynn.

The post holder will provide advice and education to staff in order to promote best clinical practice across the QEH. They will provide advice and guidance to staff when required.

The post holder will participate in mandatory surveillance programmes. They will also be required to audit and monitor IPC practice using recognise audit tools, feeding back information and data to staff to improve IPC standards.

The post holder will support the Director of IPC (DIPC) and the Head of IPC in developing infection prevention and control strategy, ensuring engagement of ALL groups of staff, patients and external organisations where appropriate.

Officially deputise for the Head of IPC and, as such, have delegated authority for decision making. The post holder will have specific responsibility for managing some members of the IPC team providing clinical and professional leadership to ensure that the service meets the needs of the Trust.

The Revenues Inspector role is aimed at providing support to the Revenues team in the assessment and collection of Council Tax and Business Rates. We are committed to bringing new homes and commercial property to Kings Lynn and West Norfolk, and we need you to monitor these developments both remotely and in person to make sure they are brought into the Council Tax and Business Rates list as soon as possible. This will help to maximum income so that as a Council we can provide vital services to the borough.

You will provide advice, make decisions, respond to customer’s enquiries and review both Council Tax and Business Rates properties for discounts, relief, and exemptions to ensure their accuracy. You’ll also visit properties for information collection, reviews, and investigative purposes for suspected fraud cases.

Previous experience working in a Revenues and Benefits environment would be an advantage. However, we are looking for someone who is committed to learning and serving the borough, who can bring relevant skills that show they can develop into the role by undertaking the necessary training with full support and guidance.
