• This is a hands-on position where flexibility and a desire to constantly improve are the most relevant soft skills in order to assure a systematic company improvement.
• The role requires a strong cross functional relationship to be built and the ability to produce management reports and communicate key issues effectively on a regular basis to all staff, customers and suppliers.

Key Considerations:

• A HNC (Higher National Certificate) / HND (Higher National Diploma) with elements mainly on mechanical and quality qualifications.
• Experience in quality control in automotive field, particularly on machined components.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings
• CNC CMM Operating(selecting and running programmes
• Identification and recommendation of potential improvements at the quality system.

Are you a ready now Clinical Pharmacy Leader looking for the next challenge in your career? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and dedicated pharmacist to lead the trust medicines assurance and pharmacy governance at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust.

The opportunity has arisen as the current post holder will be on maternity leave, therefore a fixed term contract (secondment considered) is being advertised.

The primary role of this post is the professional strategic leadership of the Trust Medicines Assurance Framework and Pharmacy Governance. Also act as the professional secretary for the Trust Medicines Optimisation Committee (MOC) and Chair of the Medicines Policy and Practice Committee (MPPC).

The post holder will play a key strategic role in supporting the Director/Deputy Director of Pharmacy and Trust Quality team to ensure all our medication related committees and groups focus their outputs towards statutory Trust assurance needs, internal continual improvement and aligning towards a progressive Trust Medicines Optimisation Strategy.

As the secretary of the centralised Trust MOC, support Chairs of the committees and groups which are closet to clinical practice and the enablement of innovative practice. All committees output and reporting being accountable to MOC.

At an ICS level the post holder will also support the medicines governance group via the delegated authority of the Pharmacy Governance Team which includes the Medication Safety Officer (MSO).

Here at UHCW we are looking for a highly motivated , enthusiastic team player looking to join large theatre department that consists of 22 operating theatres. The post holder will provide clinical leadership to ensure a high level of operational effectiveness and a safe working environment in a way that supports all staff. To work through organisational limitations and with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate the operational management of main theatres on a day-to-day basis. To work closely with all specialities to optimise patient flow. The post holder will be responsible for the co-ordination of day-to-day effective management of theatre lists, including the running of services and allocation of staff. They will be responsible for directing and overseeing main theatres daily activities closely with the Manager of the day (MOD) for Theatres.

General Responsibilities

· Ensure all theatre staff is efficiently deployed and there is sufficient skill mix to support optimum service delivery. Ensuring that patient safety and staff well-being is always maintained.

· Checking work rotas on daily basis to cover the needs of the department.

· Respond accordingly to the variable requirements of theatre activity as it changes during day, prioritizing, to meet service needs.

· Demonstrate highly developed knowledge and experience of all clinical specialities and services requirements.

· Liaise with medical and ward staff to maximise the efficient running lists.

· Recording of absence and maintain documentation within the department correctly in line with trust policy, procedures and guidelines e.g. sickness, absence issues and disciplinary procedure, following through with appropriate actions and advice as necessary.

· A resource for staff, advising on national, local and Trust policy and procedures / guidelines, ensuring that clinical governance is embedded in practice.

· Using effective communication in the distribution and understanding of information, ensuring all relevant individuals and departments obtain appropriate information and updates.

· Support patients, carers and staff during difficult situations arising in the clinical area, e.g. following an unexpected event.
