Who we are looking for
The Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer / Lead is a senior SQA role responsible for leading SQA efforts on Agile team(s) working to enhance State Street’s core custody platform.
As a Senior Software Quality Lead you will:
- Assume a leadership SQA role in assigned Agile Scrum/Kanban rooms with responsibilities to review and provide feedback to SQA team members and research and resolve complex issues/impediments utilizing proven problem-solving skills
- Assist the Kanban/Agile team with SCRUM responsibilities as needed, including SDLC documentation, tollgate management and change/release management preparation.
- Ensure adherence with all State Street SDLC tollgate requirements for SQA ensuring all proper procedures and controls are in place throughout the software testing process
- Define test plans and design/execute functional, integration and regression test cases
- Work closely and collaborate with other team members in a Agile Scrum/Kanban team environment
These skills will help you succeed in this role:
- Knowledge/experience in Custody, Securities Processing, Investments or Fund Accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Proficient in Jira is preferable including experience with XRAY test management tool
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong ability to review and understand complex concepts at a detailed level
- Ability to multi-task and to take the initiative when needed
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team setting
- Ability to foster and maintain strong relationships with all partners in the Software Development Lifecycle such as business and development
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented individual and have a minimum of 5 years of SQA experience and demonstrate superior analytical capabilities with experience in Custody, Investments, or Securities processing.

Salary Range:
$90,000 - $142,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
