Senior Manager, Compliance (Singapore)

We are looking for a motivated and highly experienced Singapore Compliance Officer and Financial Crime professional who will will help promote a sound Compliance culture across both Convera Singapore Pte Ltd (major payment institution) and Convera Singapore Financial PTE Ltd (capital markets services licensee and exempt financial adviser) through ensuring that there is an effective Compliance program that enables employees to take informed, risk-based decisions as they execute their business plans. Role Purpose:

The Project Manager / Control Account Manager within Test Systems utilises experience and expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and can successfully influence short-term and some long-term business goals. The Test System Department designs and develops state of the art custom test Hardware and Software, Test Harnesses and Documentation for all up and coming Avionics Products being designed and built within our facility. Working closely with 3rd party manufacturing houses to produce TE to our requirements. We also design and manufacture a variety of smaller test boxes, breakout boxes and test cables to support NPI development.

Job Responsibilities

• Review Client Services’ corroboration of clients’ sources of wealth and funds.
• Review of account opening procedures and documentation, as well as review of transactions monitoring for high-risk customers (ECDD/PEPs).
• Conducting compliance reviews relating to Anti-Money Laundering Customer Due Diligence/Know-Your-Customers and transactions monitoring (“AML CDD/KYC/TM”) related reviews to identify any potential money laundering and recommend filing of STRs where applicable.
• Communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders for the purpose of conducting AML CDD/KYC/TM reviews.
• Provide compliance advisory on Anti-Money Laundering/Countering Financing of Terrorism regulatory requirements.
• Performing investigations on suspicious transactions escalated or compliance issues or violations reported to Compliance where necessary.
• Assist and coordinate in regulatory requests related matters.
• Coordinate and conduct training to relevant stakeholders (including front office) in relation to AML CDD/KYC.
• Monitor regulatory changes and update policies and procedures, including dissemination to relevant staff/department.
• Prepare and ensure timely submission of management reports to Senior Management, Board of Directors and Head Office.
• Coordinate AML-related training programs to ensure all employees are aware of compliance responsibilities and company policies.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Serves as liaison between the company and regulatory agencies. Collaborate with internal and external auditors during compliance reviews.
• Review the AML CDDQs submitted by clients and complete the AML CDDQs requested by counterparties.
• Verify and upload internal/external watchlists, along with risk scores, to the NICE Actimize SG Compliance List.
• Review and update the ML/CFT Enterprise Wide Risk Assessment periodically.
• Assist in other reviews / task / projects as necessary.

Job Requirements

• Proficient in written and spoken English
• Microsoft office and familiar with AML/CFT rules and requirements
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in compliance, AML CDD/KYC/TM
• A good Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy, Banking or Finance.
• Additional diploma in AML-related is a plus.

The Role and the Department

The Common Awards Assistant Quality Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our national Common Awards partnership with the Church of England and Theological Education Institution (TEI) partners across England, Scotland and Wales.

Working within a dedicated and friendly team of 5, this role involves carrying out professional duties across a broad range of areas to support the implementation of the University's core quality management processes as they relate to the Common Awards Scheme, and relating to student records (including student and module registration processes, data entry, marks entry and supporting the campus card production, graduation and Board of Examiner processes) and to quality assurance and enhancement processes (such as programme approval processes, curriculum updating, reviews and external examining, and authoring professional reports for validation and periodic review purposes). The post holder will undertake activity in both areas. This varied and interesting role also provides event support for programmes of student and staff activity related to teaching, learning and research.

On a typical day the postholder might review and respond to complex queries in the shared email inbox, assess the accuracy and quality of a set of TEI data or documentation, author professional reports for consideration in the university committee structure, liaise with other University colleagues over the organisation of events, and generally collaborate closely with other team members including the Senior Quality Manager, Assistant Quality Manager, Head of AQS, and academic lead for Common Awards, Prof Mike Higton.

Job Description

1. Monitoring Production Processes: Ensuring that all manufacturing processes comply with established standards and regulations. This involves frequent inspection of equipment, facilities, and procedures to identify any deviations or potential issues.

Quality Manager - Leading Civil Engineering Contractor - Snowdonia

A Leading Civil Engineering Contractor, are currently looking to appoint an experienced Quality Manager to be based permanently on site on one of their biggest schemes valuing at £300M.

Main Responsibilities:

The Quality Manager will work closely with the project managers across the project providing fundamental support to their project and team. Overseeing the management and quality reporting process and systems, ensure compliance across relevant documents, assist with planning and document control ensuring the projects are completed to best standard following best practice.

Your responsibilities will include (not exhaustive):

• Implement both company and client Quality Management Systems.
• Be the primary point of contact for the client regarding any Quality issues.
• Establish and enforce quality standards and measurement systems.
• Conduct quality audits on sites, suppliers & consultants.
• Establish & build quality control systems and implement across site.
• Build training programmes and ensure training is conducted to the correct individuals.

The Ideal Candidate:

• You will be required to provide flexibility in this role a car / allowance is provided with this role so you must have a FULL UK manual car driving license.
• You will have experience within a similar role with a large civil engineering/ infrastructure project.
• Strong knowledge and experience of BIM legislation and regulations, as well as industry best practice.

• Membership of the Chartered Quality Institute or institution of Civil Engineers.
• Experience and understanding of ISO 19650 and 4Projectts, A-Site and Projectwise.
