• Ensuring product specifications are met consistently
• Maintain adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) on a daily basis
• Manage QC Hold, Quarantine, and Non-Conformance processes (e.g., paperwork, quarantine)
• Conduct monthly Blade Audit, Hard Plastic, and Glass Audit

The successful applicant will ideally have the following key skills, traits and experience:

• Preferred experience in HACCP and Internal Auditing (not essential)

What's on offer?

• 5 days over 7 - 6am to 3pm
• £11.44p/h - paid weekly

As a Quality Control Operative, you'll ensure that production standards are met and maintained for all goods. Performing checks on random samples from a production line to ensure all products, labelling and packaging meets customer specifications.

Other duties and responsibilities include:

• Conducting quality inspections, assessing quality and ensuring compliance to customer and product specifications
• Recording results and allocate according to the customer requirements
• Labelling and packaging checks to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Producing detailed reports on quality issues found, and communicating to managers
• Calibrating production equipment

To be successful in this Quality Control position, you'll have previous experience within a quality control environment - ideally with a background in food manufacturing. Combined with the following:

• Able to follow both written and verbal instructions
• Be computer literate, with experience using Microsoft Office
• Strong organisational skills

As a Document Quality Controllers, you will be responsible for handling various confidential documents; therefore, for this role an employment background check must be undertaken for successful applicants to proceed.

Working as a Document Quality Controller:

• Monday to Friday
• 06:00 to 14:00 OR 08:00 to 16:00 OR 14:00 to 22:00
• £10.90 to £12 per hour

As a Document Quality Controller, you will be responsible for:

• Organising files and documents
• Checking the quality of scanned documents
• Safely storing and disposing of files
• Carefully following processes
• Ensuring confidentiality of information
• Using IT to assist with storing documents

To be successful within this Document Quality Controller role, you will ideally be:

• Computer literate and able to utilise bespoke software packages
• Ability to understand, communicate, read and write the English language (anyone found to not meet these criteria will be rejected form the project)
• Ability to follow clear direction and instructions and cannot deviate from the process detailed by their Duty Manager/Team Lead
• There is a requirement for all candidates to perform manual handling tasks (typically this will involve lifting and moving boxes up to 20kg)
• Candidates should be available for Saturday work where required (the contractual working week will be Monday to Saturday) Saturday is not overtime

This role would be a good fit for individuals with previous office/admin experience and/or can demonstrate a good understanding of computer literacy. However, please note that this role is based on site in Livingston, West Lothian.
