The Recycling Warehouse Operative role includes:

• Loading plastic food trays onto a conveyor belt, the trays are unloaded at the other end and returned to the suppliers
• Unloading cages and trays from trailers, and taking them to a baling machine, where the cardboard and plastic is then pressed into bales, which come out at the other end
• You must enjoy physical work as you will be on your feet throughout the shifts.

Job Summary:
As the Warehouse Team Leader for the LNER contract, you will be supporting the Service Centre Manager in managing and delivering safe, efficient, and cost-effective services encompassing all areas of the operation. Education:
Three passes at GCSE O Level (grade C or above)

Work Experience:
Industry experience preferred but not essential (warehouse pick and pack, catering and logistics)
Demonstrable relevant experience in data analytics and business management reporting

Technical Skills: (Certification, Licenses and Registration)
MS Office
Language / Communication Skills:
Excellent English and numeracy skills
Effective communication and presentation skills

Experience:

• • Proven experience in a fast-paced environment leading a team.
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant operational experience in warehousing, preferably within the food manufacturing sector.
• Technical Skills:
  • Forklift truck license preferred; experience with assisted lift equipment is a plus.
  • Food hygiene and health & safety qualifications are advantageous.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications; advanced Excel skills desirable.
