• Preparation & replenishment of QuickSTAT's dry ice consignments in conjunction with client requirements.
• Completion of daily facility sweep of Quick LHR facility to ensure all consignments are stored correctly & dispatch scheduled accordingly.
• Operation of material handling equipment (MHE) for the purpose of loading & unloading both inbound and outbound vehicles.
• Work in collaboration with Global Inventory Group to determine available stock for transfer to Quick & Logistics Service Partner facilities.

• Shared ownership for the management of departmental mailbox.

THE ROLE

• Ensure properties meet safety standards and support rough sleeper rehousing placements.
• Conduct scheduled and responsive property visits, ensuring compliance with Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) for properties in and outside the borough.
• Liaise with landlords, housing providers, and contractors to meet Gas Safe and relevant legislative standards.

THE CANDIDATE
We are seeking a candidate with previous experience in a similar frontline public housing service role, especially in property compliance and procurement.

• Proven experience in marketing and procurement of private sector properties with a track record in lettings.
• Strong knowledge of housing law, security of tenure, and health and safety for temporary accommodations.
• Familiarity with private leasing schemes, including financial and operational considerations.
• Understanding of rough sleepers' needs within temporary accommodations.
• Skilled in partnership working, negotiation, and case management.

THE CONTRACT

• 36 hours, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
• 12 weeks with potential for extension or a permanent position

The Job

• Working as part of a team providing excellent customer service wherever there is interaction with one of our customers
• Using specialist equipment such as the sawmill, paint mixers and forklifts
• We sell building materials, so there will be an element of manual handling, we can make reasonable adjustments if you need them
• Merchandising stock displays and replenishing shelves across the branch
• The contracted hours for this role are 37 or more

Your new role
Recruiting for a charity organisation dedicated to making a positive impact. I am currently seeking an experienced Interim Procurement Specialist with a blend of commercial and public sector experience to join their team on a temporary/ interim basis. The ideal candidate will have a "come and crack on" attitude, ready to deliver results swiftly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Standard Sourcing Process:
* Gather requirements from various departments.
* Build comprehensive tender documentation.
* Lead and coordinate with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

2. Negotiation and Contractualisation:
* Conduct negotiations with suppliers to secure the best terms.
* Manage the contractualization process to ensure compliance and value for money.
3. Digital/Marketing Procurement:
* Oversee procurement for direct marketing, print fulfilment, digital, promotional items, and media buying.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in standard sourcing processes, including gathering requirements, building tender documentation, and coordinating with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience of managing contracts.
• Experience in digital and marketing procurement, including direct marketing, print fulfilment, digital, promotional items, and media buying

Soft Skills:

• Commercially oriented with a strong focus on fast-paced delivery.
• Experienced in short-term interim roles with a "come and crack on" attitude.
• A high drive for achievement and the ability to deliver results under pressure.

Qualifications:

• A mixture of commercial and public sector experience is essential.
• Relevant certifications in procurement or supply chain management are a plus.
