You will serve as an Inventory Management Specialist and be responsible for maintaining, ordering, and positioning material in support of the depot level maintenance facility and Coast Guard air station maintenance program for a category of complex materials. The primary purpose of the position is to manage inventory items.

Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include:

• Planning, expediting, forecasting, coordinating, analyzing, resolving and reporting on all supply involvement pertaining to material or system managed.
• Using the Aircraft Maintenance Management Information System (AMMIS) to maintain inventory control records and provide real time information on the location, quantity, and condition of all Coast Guard aviation assets.

• Determining quantities of major equipment to be purchased and initiating procurement actions for the purchase and/or repair of components or parts based on demand history, stock position, reorder points and lead-time.
• Coordinating with engineering personnel to initiate action to identify a source or develop new sources for problem items or no quote from vendors.

At the GS-09 level, performs less complex inventory management work under closer supervision.

Warehouse Operator, Cumbernauld, £12.00 per hour

We are looking for Warehouse Operators to join our established Rework Team in Westfield Industrial Estate, Cumbernauld.

As a Rework Warehouse Operator you will be tasked with:

• Breaking down packaged goods and repackaging in a different format / case style - as per customer specifications
• Ensuring quality of finished goods as per required standards
• Working to targets and deadlines
• Packing / labelling of finished pallets
• Drive and maintain housekeeping standards in work areas
• Manual handling

What you can expect:

1. A competitive pay rate of £12.00 per hour inclusive of shift allowance
2. A day shift pattern working 8am till 4pm Monday to Friday

Your new company
You will be working for a globally recognised facilities management business with a footprint in over 100 countries globally. Working within the fleet division, you will help to manage an annual, spending portfolio in excess of £200m p/a.
Your new role
As a Procurement Specialist, you will work closely with the Head of Fleet and Capex Procurement on a day-to-day basis to manage the departments UK spend. You will lead e2e procurement activities from market research and early engagement through to contract signature and ongoing supplier management. You will work to ensure that there is a clear and credible pipeline of future commercial opportunities. You will also have a responsibility to ensure all suppliers meet the minimum compliance and legal requirements to work with the business. You will be the main point of contact for the operational fleet stakeholders on a day-to-day basis.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have previous procurement experience, and knowledge of how the e2e procurement process can be managed. You should be a strong communicator who is able to confidently engage with senior stakeholders across the business. While this role will offer ample room for growth and development, it is crucial that you are able to manage your own workload, with minimal supervision, when required. You should be someone who is eager to develop and make the most of the growth opportunities on offer in this role.

Your new company
You will be working for one of Europe's largest food producers and exporters with projects across Europe and Africa. This business manages farmland right across the globe, producing food sold in retail stores across Europe.
Your new role
As the Purchasing Manager, you will be working with a colleague to ensure the correct quantities of goods and services are procured to allow efficient operation of farms across Africa (Senegal, Ghana and Algeria). You will need to be a fluent Italian and English speaker with the ability to conduct all day-to-day activities in either language. Previous experience working within an international farming/agricultural business is vital to allow you to hit the ground running in this role. Experience managing suppliers in African nations would be highly advantageous. You will need to have excellent commercial acumen with an ability to educate internal stakeholders on the value of procurement functions. You should be able to commute to the office in Central London 5 days a week for the first 3-6 months as the team embeds and develops in London.
What you'll get in return
You will be entitled to a base salary of up to £80,000 p/a, alongside 26 days of annual leave (increasing to 28 with service), and an enhanced pension scheme.

• Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
