The Role holder will work with the finance, purchasing and replenishment teams to ensure KPI’s are effectively tracked.

Develop, implement, track, and improve key performance metrics consistent with business objectives.

Provide suppliers with reports and KPI’s to strengthen relationships and improve performance.

Drive compliance in the hospital carton proposition customers by providing information to enable identification of incorrectly placed order quantities.

Support the overall sales & supply strategy as required.

Identify weaknesses in the current hospital carton supply chain and suggest improvements

Assist in the production of feasibility studies for supply chain projects involving hospitals.

Update and develop spreadsheets, reports, graphs and PowerPoint presentations.

Maintenance of existing reports. Update and develop reports used to assist with the replenishment process

Monitor stock availability. Ensure that sufficient stock is maintained on products used by Hospital customers in response to changes in forecasts.

Supporting the Demand Planning team to provide proactive strategic management of existing allocated lines to ensure correct inventory levels.

Conduct any other duties which may be reasonably required by the Head of Group Inventory to ensure the competent operation of the Supply chain.

To ensure that all routine tasks are documented within our Quality Management System and that all members of the team are trained, and competency tested to ensure consistent quality in all our processes.

Ensure that the standards and expectations of the business are delivered by the team.

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in inventory, distribution and operational Procedures

Will be proficient in producing reports using Excel, Word and Powerpoint

Ability to use Excel to Produce graphs, tables, pivot tables, and you will be required to interpret data from a wide variety of sources.

Will have a strong background in maths and statistics

Experience of pharmaceutical distribution environment is highly desirable

Good communication, literacy and numeracy skills.

Good time management, commercial acumen and the maturity and communication skills to work with and influence senior business partners will be beneficial.

Highly analytical education & mind set, you will have good attention to detail, be a team player, helpful and with a positive outlook.

Some offsite work may be required, so you will need to be able to drive with a valid Driving License.

Warehouse Stock Operative - Goole

The position

• This is a full time permanent position based at our customers distribution centre in Goole
• Rate of pay: £20,377 per annum
• Weekly hours: 37.5 hours plus daily 30-min unpaid break

A day in the life of a Warehouse Stock Operative

As a Warehouse Stock Operative you will work as part of a dynamic and supportive team in what can be described as a fast-paced and target driven environment to ensure the stock entering or leaving the depot is accurate.

Our activities vary, so often, you may be required to work across multiple different workstreams such as Goods Inbound checks, Picker Accuracy audits and Load Adherence checks most of which require periods of manual handling.

Job activities

• Audit the Inbound accuracy of supplier deliveries on the GFR program.
• Audit Picker accuracy of stock destined for stores and fully investigate all errors found.
• Adhere to agreed audit and error verification procedures at all times.
• Maintain integrity at all times.
• Ensure the expected productivity levels are achieved, in line with customer expectations.
• Review daily targets in line with customer expectations.

£14.44 between 13 to 26 week

Manpower is pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our National Client based in Rotherham for a warehouse sorter to join their team on a temporary basis with an immediate start!

Please note this work is very manual and will involve a lot of heavy lifting and you will be working in fast pace environment

You will work as part of a Team in a physical but rewarding environment. It will certainly keep you fit as you are always on the go. There is much more to this tole than loading and unloading trailers.

Responsibilities:

• Be able to lift and carry parcels weighing up to 30kg
• Accurately use postcode to sort parcel into the designated cages
• Maintain safe lifting while handling heavy parcels from Conveyor belts to cages
• Scan parcel bar codes while moving parcels

You will be working in a busy environment, ensuring to work with your colleagues to make sure our customers aren't kept waiting for long periods of time for their parcels.

The ideal Assistant Inventory Manager has strong communication skills and is committed to enhancing the customer experience by helping to develop a strong team comprised of members that support inventory control, stock and Web fulfillment.   

A day in the life… 

• Drive store results by helping to ensure departments achieve shrink and unit variance goals 

• Assist the inventory manager in ensuring inventory management processes are accurate, leading to profitable store results 

• Support Buy Online, Pick-up in Store and Web fulfillment orders by ensuring orders are properly filled to meet customer expectations 

• Conduct training and educational meetings for employees relating to shrinkage and unit variance, as necessary 

• Collaborate with inventory manager and other store partners to ensure sales and service goals are achieved through Buy Online, Pick-up in Store and Web fulfillment 

• Partner with Department Managers and the Store Manager to support store events

Purpose of Job:

Ability to accurately and efficiently complete assigned distribution center tasks using a variety of equipment including RF barcode scanning devices, material handling equipment - electric and manual pallet jacks, stand-up and sit-down forklifts, WMS applications, and other shipping applications.

Job Components:

• Accurately process system and manual transactions (receiving, transfer, pick, pack, ship)

• Handling of product per the warehouse distributor standards (receiving, transfer, pick, pack, ship)

• Properly tag pallets (for transfer, pick, pack, ship)

• General warehousing duties (such as restocking shelves and housekeeping of assigned areas)

• Ability to multi-task and/or quickly transition from one function/task to the next function/task

• Other warehouse duties as assigned by warehouse distributor management

Qualifications:

• High school graduate and strong basic math skills

• Minimum ½ year experience in warehouse operations - including RF/HH equipment, forklift, electric pallet jack and stretch-wrap machine preferably in warehouse environment

• Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn applicable systems required

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

• Sense of urgency and well organized

• Cooperative team like attitude

Work Environment:

The Field Inventory Management Specialist is responsible for tracking and counting of assets to and from hospitals, surgical centers, trunk stock, & Field Loaner and storage locations.  This includes tracking movements of inventory and cycle counting inventory in a defined geographical area.

This role is also responsible for providing location updates to our inventory transactions team in an effort to keep inventory accurate in the ERP system on an ongoing basis & coordinating with Field Sales Support Supervisor they have accurate visibility to their assets in “real time”. Additionally, the incumbent is responsible for providing constructive input to enhance the work process/environment by making suggestions and implementing process changes in coordination with Commercial Operations, Field Audit, and Supply Chain, as well as the local Sales Consultant team, to ensure the achievement of Field Logistics objectives.

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure inventory movements are tracked as they happen
• Ensure all assets are cycle counted monthly
• Coordinate and communicate movements to appropriate parties
• Follow daily instructions provided by supervisor and/or warehouse planner by adhering to planned routes
• Operate the vehicle in a safe and responsible manner
• Execute all safety policies, rules and regulations
• Maintain equipment and materials in a safe, neat, clean, and orderly fashion
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods
• Report all incidents/accidents/injuries immediately upon discovery to Supervisor

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrated ability to function in a high volume Logistics operation
• Demonstrated ability to do simple math, count accurately, read and write legibly
• Demonstrated ability to perform tasks requiring physical abilities as noted in the section below
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated collaboration skills – team member; ability to contribute positively to the morale of the team
• Demonstrated flexibility/sense of urgency (Takes direction and accomplishes tasks quickly and efficiently without sacrificing quality)
• Demonstrated ability to follow policies, SOPs, regulations and legal requirement knowledge
• Demonstrated ability to produce according to established goals and standards
