Job Description
A key position within the factory responsible for the raw material planning, manufacturing operations and distribution of the finished product. As well as operating a state-of-the-art dry mortar factory, you will also be responsible for the daily planning of all raw material deliveries and the daily planning of the delivery fleet. You will be trained to operate both a state-of-the-art sand drying system and a state-of-the-art mortar mixing plant, becoming a skilled plant operator and team leader. A day in the life of a Warehouse Stock Operative

As a Mobile Accuracy Checker, you will work as part of a dynamic and supportive team in what can be described as a fast-paced and target driven environment to ensure the stock entering our customer store is accurate.

Job activities

• Audit the Inbound accuracy of multiple supplier deliveries at customer store level.
• Audit Picker accuracy of stock arriving at stores and fully investigate all errors found.
• Adhere to agreed audit and error verification procedures at all times.
• Maintain integrity at all times.
• Ensure the expected productivity levels are achieved, in line with customer expectations.
• Review daily targets in line with customer expectations.

Job specifics

• Able to actively respond to both verbal instructions and audible warning devices
• The ability to communicate well, both written and verbally.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• You will be confident in their ability to add and subtract without the use of a calculator.

• All work may require prolonged periods of standing and all employees will be required to kneel, bend and squat in order to access and work with low and ground level stock.

Your new role
You will be responsible for managing the electronics category, working closely with the purchasing manager and a team of 3 other buyers. You will be responsible for developing a short- and long-term category plan for your allocated category. You will conduct sourcing, RFI, RFP and RFQ activities as required to allow the business to meet growing demand. You will be responsible for ensuring approved suppliers are providing service in line with agreed SLA's etc. You will also re-negotiate existing contracts to ensure optimum commercial outcome for the business.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have experience buying a variety of electronic components such as batteries, motors, ICs, resistors etc. You should come from a manufacturing industry, ideally with 3-5 years' experience in a similar role. You should have an advanced understanding of Excel, be able to perform data analysis and collate appropriate reports when necessary.

- Processing incoming freight by inputting data on the IT system, labelling, wrapping & scanning -Training is provided

- Packing shipments safely to ensure that customers receive shipment intact. Preparing international parcels.
