Supervisory Probationary Statement: Applicants selected for this position may be required to serve a one-year supervisory probationary period. Failure to successfully complete the supervisory probationary period will result in the employee being reassigned to a position in the agency of no lower grade and pay than the one the employee left to accept the supervisory or managerial position.
Major Duties:
- Advises customers and contracting officers seeking to resolve high visibility or critical impact problems which have not been resolved by normal/routine corrective actions.
- Supervises a geographically dispersed workforce in accomplishing the acquisition integration mission.
- Directs, coordinates, and oversees the work of subordinate employees and contractors.
- Assists the VA leaders in planning, managing, and overseeing acquisitions in support of VA activities.
