With an expanding business footprint, they are currently looking for a Head of Procurement to play a crucial role in the Procurement department’s continued development and success.
Job Description
Reporting to the Managing Director, main responsibilities will be to drive programs to innovation, foster strong vendor relationships, and elevate the organisation’s procurement strategy.
Your other responsibilities include:
- Design and execute the organization’s procurement strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Implement best-in-class practices and lead high-value strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize efficiency.
- Identifying, evaluating vendors, recommend top-performing partners to strengthen the supply chain.
- Oversee procurement processes to ensure compliance with policies, establish and monitor KPIs to measure success, and negotiate competitive costs for supplies and services.
- Manage budgets, track contractor performance, and support audits while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Building and mentoring the team, as welling as provide expert guidance to meet the needs of business units and foster a culture of excellence.
The Successful Applicant
You should possess a degree qualification in a business or equivalent preferred. You must have minimum 10 years of work-related experience in F&B procurement or purchasing is highly advantageous. Proficiency in SAP Material Management Modules. Demonstrates energy, gravitas and determination in the implementation of projects and initiatives. You should also have good interpersonal skills engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
