Job Overview
We're on the lookout for an experienced and enthusiastic Store Manager to lead our Kensington retail store. You will be responsible for ensuring the store's success by delivering exceptional customer service, managing retail operations, and driving sales. The position

• This is a full time permanent position based at our customers distribution centre in Enfield.
• Rate of pay: £22,912 per annum
• Weekly hours: 37.5 hours plus daily 30-min unpaid break

A day in the life of a Warehouse Stock Operative

As a Warehouse Stock Operative, you will work as part of a dynamic and supportive team in what can be described as a fast-paced and target driven environment to ensure the stock entering or leaving the depot is accurate.

Our activities vary, so often, you may be required to work across multiple different workstreams such as Goods Inbound checks, Picker Accuracy audits and Load Adherence checks most of which require periods of manual handling.

Job activities

• Audit the Inbound accuracy of supplier deliveries on the GFR program.
• Audit Picker accuracy of stock destined for stores and fully investigate all errors found.
• Adhere to agreed audit and error verification procedures at all times.
• Maintain integrity at all times.
• Ensure the expected productivity levels are achieved, in line with customer expectations.
• Review daily targets in line with customer expectations.

Our client, a highly successful international business is looking to appoint an experienced Meat Buyer with specific experience of purchasing large quantities of raw meat - upwards of 5 tons per day, along with the connections and relationships with meat suppliers both in the UK and abroad. With the primary focus on acquiring consistent and large volumes of meat the position requires you to do the same for the acquisition of seafood (tough the tonnage is not as high).

This is a key role ensuring supplies are purchased and the right pricing and delivered on a consistent basis to ensure the production plant runs smoothly and offers salary range of£28,000 - £40,000 plus excellent benefits.

As a Meat Buyer, you will be responsible for managing supplier negotiations, ensuring stock levels are optimally forecasted and will handle all order tracking and customs documentation.

You will be responsible for:

- Maintaining and reviewing purchasing contracts and agreements.

- Researching and complying with food and customs regulations.

- Assist in improving product specifications.

- Communicate with suppliers and internal teams regarding product status.

Your new role
You will be supporting the Procurement Director in establishing the value of procurement, with a direct focus on leading and managing the IT Category. You will be managing £50m worth of spend, as well as direct management of a small team reporting to you. The principal part of this role will be the full E2E procurement process of the IT category. A Market Data Category manager will be reporting into you, so market data exposure would be desirable.

You will NEED to have predominant exposure to category management of IT - any other profiles won't be considered. You must have an innovative mindset in order to support the development of the entire procurement function.
