Your new role
In your new role as Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for the processing of purchase invoices for all areas of the business, including matching invoices to PO numbers and coding of invoices. You will set up new supplier accounts, maintain control of the ledger accounts and regularly reconcile the supplier statements. Part of your role will involve dealing with any supplier and customer queries in a timely and professional manner, whilst ensuring excellent levels of customer service. You will maintain control of the purchase ledger inbox and assist with weekly payment runs. This is a full time role, working Monday to Friday.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful for this role, you will have excellent IT skills and have a good understanding of nominal ledger codes. Experience of working in purchase ledger is essential, with the ability to manage high volumes of invoices with excellent communication skills.

• Good endurance skills, as the job is manual, and you will be on your feet for long periods of time.
• Follow picking lists accurately to ensure products are ready for delivery in an efficient manner
• Must have experience in a similar warehouse role
• A FLT license is desirable but not essential
• A Full UK Driving license is essential
